Jungkook sat on the half cracked wall,his legs dangling in the air.
The cold wind swept past his cheeks, slightly bruising them.He pulled his jacket closer and bit his lower lip until they were numb.
The road ahead stretched far and beyond, covered with trees on both the sides.His lips stretched into a thin smile when he saw someone approaching him.
"Jungkook,am I late?"
Jimin asked as he bent down, clutching his knees, trying to catch his breath.
"No hyung,I just came early"
Jungkook replied as he got down and eyed the older.
Jimin was wearing an oversized baby blue hoodie with black shorts.His hair fell on his forehead, making him look rather cute and innocent.
"Where did you want to take me Jungkook?"
Jimin asked as he started walking alongside Jungkook.
"You'll see hyungie"
Jungkook simply smiled as he walked towards a very familiar road.After half an hour,they finally came to a large expanse,a gorgeous place filled with cherry blossoms and soft pink petals.The chirping of birds,the rustling of leaves,the gushing sound of the river,the dazzling ray of sunlight filled with rainbow hues and transparent bubbles, everything about this place was magical.
"Our place"Jungkook whispered.
"Our place"Jimin smiled.
This was where they had first met.
Jungkook took out a piece of paper from his pocket and unfolded it
"I have written something hyungie"
"Go ahead"
Jimin encouraged ignoring his rapid heart beat.
To Jiminie hyung,
Hyungie, ever since I met you,my life has completely changed.You make me so happy,you always manage to put a smile on my face,you take care of me,you cook for me,you scold me when I do mistakes,most of all you teach me to be unapologetically myself,you teach me to be proud of my flaws and scars.
You sing songs for me when I have difficulty in sleeping, you hold my hand when I am tensed.You goof along with me, dance with me, encourage my silliness.You are always there for me.
As a best friend.But hyungie,I realised that my feelings for you have been way deeper.I cannot live without you.
You're the only one who I wouldn't mind losing sleep for, the only one who I can never get tired of talking to, and the only one who crosses my mind constantly throughout the day.
You're the only one who can make me smile without trying, brighten my mood without the intention to and effect my emotions with every action of yours. I can't explain with just words how much you mean to me, but you're the one I'm afraid of losing and the one I want to keep in my life.
Meeting you was like listening to a song for the first time and knowing that it was going to be my favourite!

Jungkook looked up to find tears in Jimin's eyes.He gently wiped the golden tears
"Don't cry hyungie"
"You make such a beautiful, heartfelt confession and want me to not cry!"
Jungkook giggled lightly.
He didn't know if Jimin reciprocated with his feelings but he knew that whatever happens Jimin would never leave him.They were truly connected by souls.
