When I finally get home after the hour long drive I park the motorcycle in the garage. Aspen fell asleep during the ride so I pick him up and tuck him into bed. I take my laptop out and check Facebook one more time. The picture Bruno took of me at the beach is posted captioning "I found the sweet girl I was looking for :)" I smile wide, Bruno Mars called me sweet. I yawn and close my laptop before heading into my room to sleep. I'm still in my bikini they're dry now but I change into my pj's. My cellphone rings, I reach for it across my bead and answer.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jessica ,its Bruno"
"Hey Bruno." His voice sounds exhausted "Are you okay you sound really tired"
"I am I just wanted to call you, make sure your okay,"
I sigh I'm still shaken up on what happened to Aspen "I'm okay thanks"
"Okay, good, See you tomorrow,"
"Bye," I smile as I hang up the phone, then crawl under the covers and fall asleep. In my sleep a nightmare greets me. Aspen was drowning again, except Bruno wasn't there this time and by the time I reach Aspen, he's gone. Drowned in the water, his dead helpless body in my arms. I wakeup screaming and later crying until Aspen waddles in and climbs in next to me, "Are you okay mommy?" He asks me I am now baby," I hug him tight he falls asleep next to me and soon after him I fall asleep too :)
