Joshua's POV unless specified otherwise

I woke up feeling happy until I saw my uncle right in my FACE AND IT MADE ME SCREAM!!!

I smacked him with a pillow out of my first instinct..

Morris: "OW!"

He hissed and backed away. WHY IS HE HISSING!?!?!?! Tears welled up in my eyes at this literal vampire.

Morris: "How DARE you!"

"P-please don't yell at me sir..."

He grabbed me, bent me over and spanked me. My whole body jiggled, and I started SOBBING SO MUCH.

"SIR I DIDN'T MEAN TO! I'M SO SORRY!"

Morris: "Get up and get ready, today I am having a birthday party and that new farmer lady is invited."

"Y-yes uncle Morris..."

I sobbed as he left, and started getting into my best clothes. Sadly my best clothes were almost exactly like Morris's, just, the bow was blue instead of pink.

I hate this suit, I hate this house, I HATE MY UNCLE, AND I HATE MY LIFE!!!

My mind was overflowed with thoughts and I started sobbing again. I peered out the window and just saw a dreary day outside, rainclouds filling the sky as puddles formed in the dirt. My phone buzzed and I saw a notification from Morris.

Remember to stand up straight, Joshua. I believe the ladies love good posture.

Why is he so obsessed with the way I stand... WHY DOES HE CARE SO MUCH!

I find myself spiralling into a mental breakdown.

30 minutes later.

I was curled up on the floor next to my closet. Hyperventilating. Just.. the things he keeps saying to me, doing to me. It's taking a toll on me... I wish I could just get rid of him.

Leave this place and start over new somewhere.

Maybe that girl was the key... I really do love her, even though I've ONLY SEEN HER ONCE!

So I got up and went downstairs, my hair was a mess so I put on my favourite hat and saw Morris laying on the floor.

"Um..."

He immediately got up.

Morris: "I was just... stretching my back on the floor."

"... um.."

Morris: "To maintain good posture."

I sighed. I swear to God I'm about to snap, if... if he mentions posture one more time. I'm.. I might just... ugh. I need to just stay calm. Just a bit longer, and maybe me and that girl can move far away from him and never see his stupid kitty face again.

Morris: "Now then, let's go, shall we?"

"Where are we going..?"

Morris: "We are off to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate my birthday."

"... Oh.. okay.."

I didn't really wanna go there... those... those animatronics scare me... but I decided to suck it up for the girl I love so dearly. We could just ditch my uncle and hang out somewhere else together...

I got in the car and we started driving to Chuck E. Cheese. Some weird music was playing in the car and Morris started singing it disgustingly. I started crying quietly.

Morris: "🎶While the rest of Hell's pissing!🎶"

I plugged my ears. I don't LIKE THIS SONG! I've never heard it before this but it sounded so weird and bad.

Finally we made it to Chuck E. Cheese.

We sat at a table and Morris ordered everything. We'd be here for hours... so I sat down and waited for Scara to come, since Morris said he invited her.

I laid my head down on the table.

Morris: "Sit up, Joshua. How many times must I tell you?"

I sighed and sat up, resting my hands in my lap. I resisted the urge to cry again... and this time I had an urge to scold HIM for his weasel posture but I guess it would only get me more in trouble so I just stayed quiet.

But that's when I saw her.

She actually decided to come. I WAS SO HAPPY. She took a seat next to Morris.

Scara: "Happy birthday."

Morris: "Thank you, dear."

I was about to cry again but then I remembered he just kinda talked like that. The reason I assumed he was speaking to her affectionately was because...  I... I've seen his.. his Discord. How he talks to girls a lot younger than himself.

It... really scares me.

We sat in silence, Morris focused on his food and I was just focused on my thoughts. I noticed Scara looking at me.

My face turned bright red with blush and I looked down, puffing my cheeks out due to holding my breath.

Morris: "Is something the matter, Joshua? You haven't touched your spider-melon."

I shivered at the condescension in his tone.

I took a small nibble of my spider-melon so he wouldn't bother me. Looked like it satisfied him because he just went right back to burying his fat face in his food.

I just sat awkwardly until Morris made another gesture at me. I was so confused so I just looked at him strangely. He just sighed and said bluntly,

Morris: "Go take her to the arcade."

"... O-Okay.."

I sighed. I looked over at Scara and she seemed a little confused too. I wish Morris hadn't been so blunt because NOW SHE'D KNOW THAT HE WAS SETTING US UP!

I got up and we went to the arcade.

1 hour 23.5 minutes later.

After a fun day with Scara at the arcade she seemed to be warming up to me a little bit...

So I decided to go for the big question.

"Scara... do.. d-do.. d-d-d-do... you.. want to... t-t-t-to... um..."

I took a very deep breath as she looked at me confused.

"D-do you want to b-be my... girlfriend...?"

Scara: "Um..."

Tears welled up in my eyes.

Scara: "Sorry, we just m-"

I bursted into tears, and bolted away. Morris looked back at me as I ran and I heard him shout 'hey!' but I wasn't coming back.

No. It was like something had just snapped.

I wasn't thinking clearly, and I just ran, and ran, as fast as my obese body would take me.
