I wanted something special to bring back to Scara.
It'd be embarrassing if I came to Scara with only these pebbles. So I decided since Morris isn't here that I'd go through his stash.
I found a really pretty gem so I decided to take it as a gift for Scara. It was red and heart shaped. Perfect!
What's the worst that could happen?
2 hours later
I knocked on Scara's door.
Scara: "Hello?"
"Hey!"
Scara: "Oh hey Joshua..."
"H-hey! I have a ... a present for you."
I handed the box to her. She opened it and gasped.
Scara: "I've.. never seen anything like it."
"REALLY?"
Scara: "Yeah where'd you get this?"
"Um... the Mines."
Scara: "Hm... I gotta research this thing."
"Okay... let me know what you find..!"
I smiled and left. As I walked away I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I can't believe Morris had a gem she hadn't seen before!
I'm glad she liked it..
She probably thinks I'm amazing now!
