We entered the Wizard's tower...
"H-Hello...?"
I've never been here before...
Scara didn't seem scared. I wish I was brave like her and Uncle Morris.
Wizard: "What are you two doing here?"
Scara: "We have come to retrieve the gem."
Wizard: "What... I sense great power coming from this gem. What's in it for me, if I give you this?"
"..."
Scara: "..."
We had to think. What could we give him...
"I uh..."
Scara: "..."
I thought about what Uncle Morris would do to get what he wants.. and suddenly an idea came to my mind.
"I got something special you could use for a recipe."
Wizard: "... Let me see?"
I pulled out some Energy tonic. It hurt to give these away, but I NEEDED to get that gem back.
"These are really special. They have a lot of magic that can give you a lot of strength! Just ask Scara."
Scara: "..."
I exchanged glances with her. Trying to hint that I wasn't exactly being THAT truthful with him.
Scara: "Oh. Uh, yeah. I use those every day. I'm able to go without sleeping for like, three days. Just imagine what it could do if you used it in a spell?"
"EXACTLY! It is sure to give you 100% satisfaction guaranteed just take it and if you aren't happy with it then we'll give you the gem back!"
Wizard: "... Deal."
I gave him the energy tonic and he gave me the crystal. He started making a potion with the tonic.
"Hey do you know where Morris is?"
Wizard: "Why do you ask?"
"Uh... there was a sale at JojaMart and I wanna go buy some stuff."
I didn't want people knowing he was my uncle.
Wizard: "I can sense where he is using a spell."
"Duuuude cast a spelllll..."
Wizard: "Willy wigger, kill that-"
"WOAH WHAT?"
Wizard: "Wrong spell. Ahem."
He started warming up a spell. He told us he sensed Morris was at home.
"Oh, okay."
And with that, we went to go return the gem.
