Triple A

Chapter 1: Restless Night

Hello dear reader, my name is Aurora and this is my story. I won't lie to you it's not a very good one but this is unfortunately the hand I was dealt. I should warn you though, my story is a dark and twisted one. So have a seat and let me tell you how all my dreams finally came true.  

3:30 am:

Thunder cracks in the background as the sleeping figure is tossing and turning from a recurring nightmare. Sweat is visible on her forehead as she shoots up screaming panic already setting in. In the next room Amelia is sleeping peacefully when suddenly she hears Aurora's screams.  

Amelia's Pov:

I wake to the sound of Aurora screaming. She is having the same nightmare again. I rush out of bed and run into her room with Addison right on my heels. Her screams must've woken her as well. I open Aurora's door to see her sitting up in her bed with her knees to her chest, struggling to breathe.  I slowly approach her and I can see the sweat dripping from her forehead. The sweat gives away the panic attack that has settled in. I sit on her bed and start to slowly rub her back trying to calm her down. "Aurora just try to breathe please, You're safe I promise," I say. After about five minutes of trying to get her to calm down, I look at Addi. She is already pulling out her phone to call the only person her and I both know can help her through this.  After three rings he answers. I can hear him on the phone. 

Jake's Pov:

I hear my phone ringing. As I roll over I see that it's Addison calling. I answer, "Addi? What's wrong?" She answers me with only one name Aurora's. As soon as I hear her name I jump and instantly hang up indicating I'm on my way. I grab my favorite hoodie and throw it over my naked torso as I walk out of my room and head towards my brother's room to inform him that I was leaving. I told him I was going to Aurora's house because she had another nightmare. As I close his door I hear him from the other side telling me to keep him posted. I finally made my way to my car. As I start my engine my phone lights up from a text message from Amelia telling me that Aurora isn't getting better. I speed out of my driveway and head over to Triple A's headquarters. It took me about 10 minutes to get there. As I pull in I can see Addi waiting for me at the door. I park my car and make my way to her. As I reach her she tells me that she's never seen Ora this bad before. I run past her and instantly head to her room. As I reach her room I can hear her cries from the outside. I open the door and I see Amelia sitting on the bed with her rubbing her back trying to sooth her. As I slowly make my way to her bed and climb in with Aurora, I see Melia get up and walk towards the wall. I slowly climb behind Ora and wrap my arms around her. She starts to scream and tries to hit me. " Aurora, shhh it's okay. It's me Jake," I say. As I grab her arms to stop her from getting me in the face. Hearing my voice seems to calm her a little. " I got you, I promise you're safe. Just listen to my voice," I whisper to her. As her breathing begins to slow I signal to Addi and Melia that they can go back to sleep I've got her. They both turn and go back to their rooms. As the bedroom door closes I feel Aurora turn around to put her nose into my neck. I kiss her on top of her forehead and reassure her that she is safe. I wait a few minutes until I can tell she is asleep. I go to get up so I can head back home but she wakes and stops me. I hear her say my name. I turn to look at her and I hear her thank me. " You don't have to thank me love," I reply. She smiles and grabs my hand. "Would you stay with me?, she asks. I smile and climb back into bed with her. I pulled her back into my arms as she nestled up into my neck as we both slowly drifted off into sleep.                                                                                End of Jake's Pov:

As they both slowly drift off to sleep everything else in this world seems so small. As if nothing else matters to them. It is just them, at this moment. They are the only two people in the world.
