Chapter 3: New Beginnings

Jake's POV:

I was walking over to the member of BTS, the group Dylan drew. When I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn my head to notice that it's my brother Dustin pointing towards the stairs. I look towards the stairs and see him. I instantly looked for Aurora. When I finally spot her I can tell that her world is beginning to spin. I walk up to her and pull her to the side with me and the girls. "Aurora listen to me I've got you. He won't come near you," I tell her, trying to get her to focus on me and not him. She looks at me with tears in her eyes. Something I hate to see. I wipe the tears off her cheeks and pull her into a hug. Addi rubbed her back as a way to help calm her. We hear the announcer telling us all to gather back up. As we gather we see him and his group standing in the middle of the stage. I know what that means, they're picking someone to compete with against us. As I am rubbing my hand up and down Aurora's back I can feel her breathing increase. I pull her closer to me, not letting her get too far away from me. After they picked their group we were told we could go. I informed Dustin and Dylan that I was walking the girls to their car. They nodded their heads. As we are walking to the car we bump into Xavier and Oliver. "Oh my apologies," Xavier says as he bumped into me clearly not seeing me. "Jake?" Oliver asked. "Hey Oli, Hey Xavier long time no see," I say. As Xavier and I begin a conversation I see Oliver talk to the girls. "Hey lovelies, how have you been," I hear him ask. After talking for a few minutes we say our goodbyes. The girls all give Oli a hug. They have always loved him. We finally made it to the car waiting for the girls. I give them all a hug and tell them I will see them later. As I am walking back to my car I end up bumping into Thomas. Him and I both just stare at each other. "Well, well, well I would say I'm surprised to see you here but I'm not," Thomas spits out. I just rolled my eyes clearly annoyed by him. "Is that supposed to mean something," I ask. He snorts and replies with "Don't you find it a little pathetic that wherever Aurora goes you have to follow her." I just ignore him and go to walk past him. He steps in front of me, he's trying to get a rise out of me. I won't let him. I push past him when I hear him say, " You know she'll never love you back right." That does it, I stop and turn around back towards him. I stand up straight now towering over him. " Maybe not, but at least I won't ever put my hands on her without her consent like you did," I snap back at him. I can see the anger begin to rise from him and he steps closer to me. I wait for him to throw the first punch which never comes. "What, afraid to hit me? Why, is it because you know if you do she'll never speak to you again," I say to him. I'm trying to get him to put his hands on me. I did make a promise to Aurora that I wouldn't touch him unless he touches me first.

Xavier's POV:

I glance to the side to see Thomas and Jake in each other's faces. I yell for Oli and Austin to come with me. Dustin must've heard me yell because I saw him headed towards them as well. When we get there I hear Jake ask Thomas if he's afraid to hit him. He knows that he won't hit him because of Aurora. Dustin and I grab Jake as Austin and Oliver grab Thomas. I stand in the middle of them both and ask " What the hell is your guy's problem?" Thomas begins to speak but I stop him from speaking. "We can't do this here. I know you two hate each other for whatever reason, but we can't be fighting here," I say. I hear Dustin say to Jake, "Jake let's just go, there are way too many cameras here." Dustin gets Jake to walk away. Jake is a lot easier to get to calm down than Thomas is. As Jake and Dustin are walking away I see Thomas begin to speak but he stops when I glare at him. He might be the leader of this group but he doesn't cross me when I'm serious. He knows that I won't think twice about punching him in the face.

Reader's POV:

All the groups finally make it to their cars. Headed to the company of the bands they were paired with. This company will be where they will work for the next year. As Triple A makes their way to the JYP building. Nerves start to settle in all their stomachs.

Aurora's POV:

We are on our way to the JYP company. This will be where we will be working while we prepare to compete in this competition. We finally arrive at the building and make our way inside. Minjun takes us to the elevator so we can head to a dance studio room where Stray Kids is waiting for us. If I said I wasn't nervous that would be a lie. I am extremely nervous. I'm about to meet the group who I've been following since they debuted. Their music has helped me through a lot. We make it to the floor. "They're in Dance Room 4," Minjun says as he leaves us. We turn to head towards Dance Room 4. I knock on the door as I hear them behind the door. Changbin is the one who opens the door. We all walk in and walk towards the rest of the members. I.N seems to be nervous. The boys all introduce themselves one by one starting with Bang Chan and ending with I.N. After they introduce themselves, the girls and I start to introduce ourselves. "Hello, my name is Amelia but my stage name is Anne," Amelia states. "I'm Addison but my stage name is Marie, it's a pleasure to meet you," Addison says. They all look at me. Amelia taps me on my shoulder snapping me out of it. "Sorry, My name is Aurora and my stage name is Maci. I am excited to work with each and every single one of you," I say as embarrassment creeps up my face. Hoping that no one saw me staring at him.
