POV Adrien:

I couldn't believe what I have seen, my clingy daughter is cuddling with someone else except me

I get in and kissed Emma's head, she is sleeping deeply like she sleeps on my chest.

I lift my head to look at her nanny. She is peacefully sleeping and she is keeping Emma in her arms like she is her own baby

I smiled for what this nanny achieved with my little Emma, then I closed the door and went to my office

I didn't have time to change my clothes, I'm still in my suit, and also, I didn't have dinner, I spent all the time in the business dinner listening to my client and thinking about my daughter

I have some work that I didn't finish at the company and I have to finish it now

I went to my office and I worked for an hour. I yawned from time to another because I was sleepy.

I feel thirsty so I went downstairs to the kitchen, and there, I found Marinette preparing a coffee

Adrien: you can't sleep?

The bluenette jumped when she heard my voice, then she turned around to face me

Marinette: oh my god, Mr. Agreste you scared the shit out of me. sorry I wanted to drink some coffee then I'll be back to baby Emma to cuddle with her

I didn't answer, I just walked toward her. her long hair is down, and she looks cute in her pajama

Adrien: I'm here to .... I really forget why I just come to the kitchen

Marinette raised an eyebrow before she burst into laughter. I couldn't hold my laugh too; I'm really dumb that I forgot even why I'm here

Marinette: want some coffee Mr. Agreste?

Adrien: yes and call me just Adrien

Marinette: are you sure?

Adrien: yes, I hate formalities, and who are close to me, call me by my name

Marinette: a-are we close?

She said while serving me a mug of coffee then we both have a seat on the stools of the island, sipping from our coffees

Marinette: Adrien, about my question?

Adrien: yes, anyone close to my daughter is close to me.

Marinette: Emma was sad because you weren't here for her. she was afraid you don't come back

Adrien: I had a lot of work, and then a dinner with my client. I was concerned about my daughter and thinking about her, she is clingy and can't sleep alone that I couldn't eat anything, glad you made this coffee for me

Marinette: are you hungry?

Adrien: so much

Marinette: I have made some lasagna and some spaghetti with meatballs for Emma, let me serve you some

Adrien: wait, you really did that for her?

Marinette: she said she loves eating that so I made everything she wants

The bluenette stand up and went to heat some food for me in the microwave then she served me a plate of lasagna and some pasta and she gained her seat

Marinette: hope you will like my cooking

Adrien: you are really an angel. I was starving but I was lazy to cook. I had a lot of work and I even had to work here in my office

Marinette: that's why you still wearing your suit
