Giving Up

POV Marinette:

I was about to give up, but I took a deep breath then I looked at toddler standing just beside me and smirking

How can a toddler do this? she looks so innocent

My back is in pain, same as my leg, but I won't give up, I just want to show this little devil that I'm a patient nanny

I tried to stand up, and it was really hard to do that but I managed to get up. I went to bring something to clean this mess meanwhile Emma was sitting in the living room, I was able to see her from where I'm

After cleaning, I stretched my arms and then I looked at the toddler waving to me

Emma: come sit here, take a seat and rest

I nodded, I was happy because finally Emma is being a good girl but suddenly, my phone ring. it was a number I don't know but I answer

Marinette: hello

Adrien: it's me Adrien

Marinette: hello Mr. Agreste

Adrien: so how many white hairs?

Marinette: nothing for now, I'm trying to ...

When I had a seat beside Emma, I heard a fart sound. I looked down, it was a fart bag that Emma put for me. I was sure it's her because she was laughing a lot

I was really embarrassed because I was on call with her father and also after what he said

Adrien: you made it on yourself?

Marinette: w-what? n-no, no, oh damn no. it was a fart bag. holy shit this is really embarrassing

Adrien: that little Emma. You made a record; you are with Emma for more than two hours. Respect

Marinette: hopefully she will be a good girl for the coming hours

Adrien: not a lot, just four more hours only and I'll be back home

Before I hung up, I heard a chuckle from Adrien. I understand what he means by chaos, I'm a bit tired but I can't leave the little baby alone

Marinette: Emma, where are you? please Emma, stop doing that and let's do girls stuff

Emma: ok, do something for me to eat

Marinette: what you want? Still want waffles? You didn't eat anything yet

Emma: yes, do for me some waffles

Marinette: no pranks?

Emma: for now, nop. Just make me something to eat, then I'll find a way to chase you out of here. from all the nannies I had, you are the one who lasted a lot. Four hours with me, I'm getting out of ideas

Marinette: why are you doing this little Emma? You can tell me

She just ignored me and went to the living room to watch tv. Meanwhile, I went to the kitchen to make her some waffles

It takes me 15 minutes to finish with her waffles then I got the plate and went to Emma and served her the waffles
