Mistake

POV Marinette:

At first, I couldn't believe what I heard. Adrien called me baby but I just closed my eyes and cling into him. his chest feels so good

Maybe this is the effect of my fever but I don't want to leave. my head was rested on his chest, and he was playing with my hair

Marinette: Adrien

Adrien: yes

Marinette: where is Emma?

Adrien: she is sleeping

Marinette: you should go back to her. she would be upset if she doesn't find you when she wakes up

Adrien: I know, and I can't let you go like this

Marinette: I'll be fine, I promise. You took good care of me, you even fed me

Adrien: that's fine, I can't let you sick after everything you did with my little baby Emma

Marinette: I love her Adrien

Adrien: I know

We both got quiet for a moment, but then, I needed to ask him, I wanted to know why he called me baby

Marinette: Adrien, can I ask you?

Adrien: yes

Marinette: why you called me baby?

When I said that, he stopped playing with my hair, and when I lift my head to look at him, I found him biting his lips

Marinette: Adrien

Adrien: I don't know, it just slipped out like that and ... I don't know

Marinette: you are my boss, Adrien. you can't tell an employee that I'm your baby

Suddenly, Adrien pulled apart. He was staring at me with a raised eyebrow

Adrien: you aren't an employee for me. do you think I would take a week off work just to stay home and take care of my employee and hold her my arms? You think that if you were just an employee like you said, I would take care of you and feed you like my own baby?

When he said that, I blushed and bite my lips. I looked away to hide my blush but Adrien grabbed me from my chin and turn my head to look at him

Adrien: you understand now?

Marinette: y-yes, I understand. By the way, tomorrow I'll get my laptop and work from bed. I already finished most of it

Adrien: no need, just rest. I shared the work between you and my other designers. now sleep. you need some rest

Marinette: thanks again Adrien

Adrien: you are welcome

I blushed again when he kissed my forehead then he left my room. I laid on bed and got my phone to check on it. Luka doesn't call me at all, I just left for him a message that I found a job and that on Sunday, I'm going to be with him

Days later, I felt really good, thanks to Adrien for taking good care of me and of Emma. The little baby visits me in my room all the time. she even stays with me and I tell her some stories

It was Sunday at 1am. I was working on the design that Adrien gave me, so I decided to finish it before sleeping then I'll go back home when Luka come to take me home with him and be back to the Agreste mansion on Monday morning

I feel a bit hungry, so I left my laptop and I went downstairs to the kitchen to make some coffee to help me stay awake

While preparing the coffee, I jumped when I heard footsteps. I looked at who, it was Adrien only in his sweatpants and wearing a gray shirt

Fuck, he looks so sexy. Looking at his well defined muscles and his big biceps, his muscles make me drool over this hot body

Adrien looks me up and down, but I blushed when I remembered what I'm wearing. Damn

Adrien: still awake?

Marinette: I should say the same thing to you

He walked toward me and got a mug to poor some coffee. he didn't say anything, neither do I

Adrien: you are leaving today?

Marinette: yes. Luka and I are going out as always

Adrien: so, this Luka is your boyfriend?

Marinette: yes, he is.

Adrien: I see. I'm going back to my room

He didn't even take a sip from his coffee. he just put his cup on the counter but before he leaves, I grabbed his hand. He turned around and look at me deep in my eyes but he doesn't say anything

We were both quiet, but I throw myself in his arms and hug him tightly like my life depend. At first, he didn't do anything but then, I felt his arms around me

Fuck, his chest feels like a pillow even through the shirt. Now I understand why Emma sleep every day on his chest

Marinette: thanks for everything

Adrien: you are welcome

I lift my head to look at him, but while staring at him, I widen my eyes when I felt a pair of lips on mine

Adrien is kissing me. I'm screaming, he is kissing me

I didn't hesitate to place my hand on his cheek and kiss him back. Adrien and I were sharing a loving kiss in the middle of the kitchen till we pulled apart breathless

Adrien: I'm .... I'm sorry, it was a mistake, and you have a boyfriend.... Sorry for that

He spit out and left upstairs. he didn't give me a chance to answer, to say something and tell him that I loved the kiss

This kiss is amazing and I loved it so much.

I want another kiss

I need another kiss because I'm feeling butterflies in my fucking stomach

Marinette: fuck

I cursed while running my fingers through my hair.

I didn't even finish my cup of coffee, or even work. I saved everything and went to lay on bed.

I couldn't sleep, I was laying on my back, staring at the pink ceiling then I looked from the window thinking about Adrien's lips on mine

I blushed again when I remembered what happened.

He said it's a mistake

Why I feel that it wasn't for me and I want more?

I sleep hardly after this kiss, it was haunting even my dreams
