Chapter 9~ Hospital

~Ace's P.O.V~

I woke up to a bright white room, I blinked and blinked again till my eyes got used to the room.

"He's awake," I heard Miller say. I felt a cold hand on my arm and slowly sat up.

I whimpered when I felt a pain in my back.

"I know, it hurts," Miller whispered, looking at me. I looked at him and saw bags under his perfect eyes.

"What happened?" I squeaked, looking at him.

"Xavier stabbed you with some sort of knife," I heard Ash say from across of the room. I looked over at him, he looked so tired..

"You've been out for a week because of it," Ash yawned. I froze a little, "a week?"

"Yes, Ace, a week," Miller said, rubbing my wrist with his thumb. "We never slept either, we were to worried."

I shook my head a little, "you two need sleep. When can we go?"

"We can go," Ash pointed to himself and Miller, "but you can't yet. You're not healed. Have you talked to your wolf lately?"

"No, why?" I asked, starting to panic a little.

"Try talking to him," Miller said. "You need help healing, you can't heal fast enough like this. We need you at home with the kids and us, we have to go home today."

I nodded, "Okai. Can I be alone?"

They both nodded and got up, leaving me alone in the room.

'Hai Blaze,' I said, waiting for an answer from him.

'Hai Ace,' he answer a couple seconds later, but he didn't sound like he usually did.

'Are you alright? Did this affect you too?' I asked, closing my eyes.

'A little, but I'm alright. Am guessing you need my help healing?' He asked, his voice going soft.

'Yes,' I sighed. 'I do need help. I need to get out of here and take care of the kids and my mates.'

'I understand,' he answered. 'I'll help, Ace.'

He went silent after that, I felt the pain in my back disappear. Thank god.

I slowly got up and walked over to the door, opening it.

"Better?" Miller asked, standing right in front of the door.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I said. "Can we go now? I really want to leave this place."

~Still Ace's P.O.V~

I walked upstairs to the kids bedroom, slowly opening the door. Macy and Jackson were sitting on the bed, but Hope wasn't anywhere to be seen.

"Hai Ace!" Macy cheered running up to me and hugging me. I hugged her back, "hai sweetie."

"Where's Hope?" I asked, smiling down at Macy and then looking up at Jackson.

"She went to the bathroom," Macy said sweetly. "But she'll be back right away she said!"

"Okai," I smiled.

"How come you was gone so long?" Jackson asked, looking at me oddly.

"I was in the hospital," I said quietly. "I just had to get some check ups done."

Suddenly, a pair of two very small arms wrapped themselves around my waist. I looked down and saw Hope. I smiled and she smiled back.

"Where were you?" She squeaked. I picked her up, "I just had to get some check ups done."

"What did that meanie do to you daddy?" She whimpered. Shit, she remembers.

"That doesn't matter, sweetie," I said quietly. "Who wants a snack?"

"Me!!" Macy and Jackson cheered at the same time, getting up and running out of the room at full speed.
