Kara was flying around the city, everything was alright for her. Alex and Maggie are engaged, she told Lena about her being Supergirl, Lena took it well and said Kara was her friend and that she was thankful Kara trusted her enough to tell her, Winn was- well Winn, and as for James, he's Gaurdian and helping out anyway that he can.

Hovering in the air, Kara closed her eyes and drowned out all of the sounds around the city. She was thankful for the few moments of relaxation. With a relieved sigh, she opens her eyes and they widen comically as the see someone standing on the edge. Kara quickly flies their way without a second thought. Just as they fall and plumet through the air, Kara picks up her speed and catches them.

Kara could make out light blonde hair, lighter than hers. She felt them hold onto her for dear life. Kara held them close to her as she flew them back up to the roof. As she landed back on the roof, she could tell their heart was racing.

Kara gently sat the girl down on one of the chairs that sat on the roof before floating in a sitting position.

Kara could see now, that the person she saved was a young woman. Probably human- or Alien- maybe both. They sat there and stared at each other in an awkward silence.

"Are you alright?" Kara asks quietly, "Sadly," The girl mumbles with a nod, thinking Supergirl won't hear her.

"That was intentional?" Kara asked in shock, the girl lowered her head and nods.

"Why would you do that?" Supergirl asks in a soft voice. She speeds over to the young woman when she notices tears streaming down her face. Supergirl sits next to the girl and wraps her arms around her slim frame. The girls curls into Kara, leaving her a bit flustered. Kara seemed to calm down once the wretched cries were silent hiccups.

"Are you alright?" Kara asked again as she gently rubbed the shorter girl's back. The girl nodded and pulled away from the hug much to Kara's dismay. The girl nods, "What's your name?" Supergirl asked as she ran a hand through her hair, "Alyssa.." The girl whispers and Kara nods at her.

"Do you wanna talk about why you tried to?..." Kara trailed off and the other girl looked at her for a moment before nodding.

Alyssa told Kara why and Kara gave her a few tips on how to manage life and stuff before she got a call from Alex.

Sighing, Kara hung up the phone and turned toward the woman she saved, "If you ever want or need to speak to me, please, call me." Kara gave the girl a watch from her boot, "I- You- you would really waste your time- to help me?" She asked and Kara gave Alyssa a stern look.

"I won't be wasting my time." Kara spoke firmly, Alyssa would've rolled her eyes at Supergirl but- well, she's Supergirl.

"You will be but alright...Thank you, Supergirl,"

Kara nodded at the younger woman and looked up at the sky as of thinking of something.

Floating into the air a bit, "Call me, Kara," Supergirl spoke and flew off. Alyssa stood of the roof in shock.

Did that really just happen? Did she just tell me her name? Oh my gosh- I met Supergirl.

- 3 weeks later

It had been 3 weeks since Supergirl met Alyssa. They spoke every night at the same time. When they weren't together, Kara would often find herself thinking of the younger girl. She had found out the girl was 23, so the age difference isn't unusual, seeing as Kara is 25 on Earth.

Looking at her watch, Kara stood in the DEO waiting for Alyssa's call. Alex called her sisters name causing her to look up.

"What's up, Alex?" She questioned, Alex smiled at her weirdly, "You okay? You've been checking your watch for some time now." Alex asked and Kara, out of habit, checked again.

"I'm just waiting for a call. It's important and I don't wanna miss it," Kara shrugged, flexing an eyebrow at her sister's side eye. "Don't look at me like that," Kara said shaking her head, "Like what?" Alex tilted her head with a slight smirk, "Like-" Kara was cut off by a muffled ringtone coming from her boot.

Quickly, she grabbed the phone and put a finger to her lips, signaling Alex to be quiet. Alex furrows her with an amused expression, "Lyssa?" Kara said after picking up.

Alex watched as Kara's smile dropped and she gave her a confused look.

"Alright. Alyssa, honey? Don't move. I'm on my way," Kara hung up and looked to Alex and without a word- and just a nod from her sister- Kara flew to where Alyssa she was.

Kara's POV

Flying at mach 2, I land gracefully in front of Alyssa's building. I notice somethings off instantly. I used my superhearing as I walked up to the door. I couldn't hear her heartbeat. Panicking, I kicked the door down and sped throughout the house. I used my x-ray vision to scan it also. My heart stopped when I walked back into the living room where a piece of paper laid bare on the table.

My hands were trembling as I read the note.

We have your pet. If you want her, come and find her.

-Cadmus

I closed my eyes as I felt anger simmer beneath my skin. My blood was boiling, I couldn't think straight. Carefully, picking the door back up and sitting it against the door frame to appear as if never broken, I closed the door and flew to the DEO.

My eyes were dark and were void of any emotion.

"Kara?" Alex voice rang out as I landed on the balcony with a bit more force intended. I ignored my sister's calls for me as I walked over toward a empty desk, and stood behind the chair and logging in. My eyes snapped up to met Alex's as she put her hand on my shoulder.

"Is everything alright?" I shook my head and continued to type on the computer at superspeed. Alex kept asking  questions but I wasn't paying her any attention. As she was about to put her hand on me again, my phone rang once again. I looked at the caller ID and growled as I saw who it was. "Where is she?" I said lowly as I began to quickly but quietly type on the computer once again. "Lillian, I swear to-" My mouth snapped shut as my phone dinged with a picture of Alyssa tied to a chair.

"You twisted- where is she?" I ignore the curious looks the agents as I walk back toward the balcony.

"I'm alone." My jaw clenched tighly as I waited for her to speak.

"Lillian-" I was cut off, "No, you, let me make myself clear. If I see one hair harmed on Alyssa Drake's head, I swear to and on Rao, I will kill you." I spoke in a low voice hearing her chuckled
Kle on the other line. As she responded, I heard footsteps walking toward me.

Once she finished talking, I hung up the phone.

"I have to go, J'onn." I spoke as I turned around.

"I know. How'd you know it was me?" He questioned. I fiddled with the belt buckle that had my Coat of Arms on it.

"I memorized everyone's footsteps out of habit." I answered truthfully.

"Kara..." He started but I held up a hand, "I'm gonna get her back. She doesn't deserve this- any of this. It's my fault." I spoke as I turned back toward the streets. He walked beside me and leaned against the railing, "Who is she?" He asked tilting his head.

I sighed, "She's my friend....But she's also my...shesur zhaol.." I fiddled with my hands. I looked up at the dark sky and prayed to Rao. I couldn't lose her. Anyone but her. I felt J'onn place his hand onto of mine.

"Does she know?" He asked and I shook my head, "I found out a week ago. I have to find her J'onn. I can't lose her too."

I hate that I sound pathetic when I'm supposed to be the girl of steel.

"Then go find your girl. And tell her," He embraced me for a quick hug. I smile at my found father before closing my eyes, and focusing on her heartbeat.
