Kara's POV

Flying normally relaxes me, but right now? That wasn't the case. Racing across all of National City, I feel tears coming down my face. I roughly wipe them off since they were blocking my vision. I stop as I reach a warehouse that's in the middle of the city. I look down at it and squint my eye, activating my X-Ray vision. Lined with lead. Smart, but not smart enough.

I look for the nearest entrance as I land on the ground. I spot a door to my left and I walk toward it. I try to open it but it doesn't budge. Sighing at my failed attempt, I think 'Screw it'. I then run into the wall next to the door. I create a huge hole in the wall and I look around the warehouse with my X-Ray vision.

I'm glad they didn't use lead to create the inside of the 'abandoned' place.

There were 2 rooms with cells, another with a stretcher located in the middle of it. There was a woman laying down on the bed unconscious. I gasped as I realized who it was. I speed toward the room and quickly, but carefully, pull the needle out of her arm.

Just as I pick Alyssa up bridal style, the alarms go off and I silently curse myself.

With Alyssa in my arms, I look down at her unconscious figure and kiss her head. "I'll get us out of here, Zhao," I whispered into her ear, half hoping she heard me. She groans in response but doesn't open her eyes.

I carefully make my way back toward the way I came. Just as I was about to open the door, I hear a voice.

"Nice of you to join us, Supergirl."

Lillian. I turn around and glare at the woman who had around 15 people standing behind her, waiting for instruction. One of them looks familiar.

My eyes widen, "Jess?" I frown at her. She looks down with a guilty look before looking back up at me. She had a different look in her eye, and I understood it.

"Does Lena know?" I ask her and she bites her cheek but doesn’t reply.

"Does. Lena. Know?" I grit out. She looks back at the ground and shakes her head.

"And it will remain that way." Lillian sneers as she inserts herself back into the conversation. Lillian raises her hand and every guard raises their weapons at me. Everyone but Jess. Lillian takes a hold of Jess' arm cause the woman to straighten her body out.

"Ms. Huang, I suggest you follow orders if you want your precious son to live." Lillian raises an eyebrow and Jess'eyes began to water. I look back down at Alyssa and back up and the few people.

The only reason I'm still standing her because of Jess. I can't leave her.

Jess' hand reaches toward the gun in the holster on her side.

"Jess..It's okay." I nod at her and she looks at me with tears in her eyes.

"It isn't. It's Kryptonite." She spoke. So that's why I'm feeling a tad bit woozy? Got it.

"That's okay. I've survived worse than Kryptonite bullets." I shrug attempted to sound nonchalant, but my voice cracked a tad bit at the end. I cleared my throat and looked back at Jess. I sneakily activated my tracker which'll send a signal to Alex and the others.

When I look back up at Jess, she's hesitantly raising the gun toward me then toward Alyssa.

"Jess?" I say as her finger begins to press against the trigger.

Lillian smirks as she stares at me. She then looks back to Jess.

"Well? What're you waiting for? A royal invitation? Shoot!" Lillian commanded.

"'A Secret Society of Second Born Royals' reference? Didn't know you liked Disney." I stated sarcastically. She rolled her eyes and took the gun from Alyssa.

"This is how it's done!" Just as Lillian was about to squeeze the trigger, a gunshot went off causing the guards to all duck and look around. I watch as Lillian drops the gun and press a hand to her shoulder. I look up at the roof and nod toward my sister. She smirks and winks as she salutes me.

I chuckle. I, then, feel something leaking onto my arm and I look down.

My eyes widen as I watch the blood drip from Alyssa's side. Her eyes are wide, she's looking at me with both hope and pain in her eyes.

"K-ara?" Her voice is weak and raspy.

"It's me, Lys. I have to get you to the DEO before you bleed out." She nods against my shoulder and begans to cough. I jump into the air and start flying.

"Ka-Kara. If I don't ma-ke it. There's something- *cough* you shou-should know." I look down at her as tears began to fill my eyes. I nod for her to continue.

"You-you....You're my-" She started but didn't finish seeing as she blacked out. She better not die on me. Not now. No. Not ever. I can't bare just the thought of her dying.

I hope I make it to the DEO in time.
