6. A Few Kills

"Tch. When I get my hands on that Imp I'm going to kill that fucker." An Ox Sinner said as he drank some alcohol.

"What the hell did he do to you?" The sinner next to him asked.

"The guy forgot to give me my 10 dollars." The Ox sinner said to him.

"That's all?" The sinner said surprised.

"What do you mean that's all? I need that money. He has yet to pay his due." The Ox sinner said as he glared at his glass.

'Okay. I think that's enough talking.' The sinner thought as he decided to focus on his own drink.

The Ox sinner brought the glass to his mouth as he drank from it, only for a bullet to go through his dead, killing him instantly for the lack of a better word as he fell on the counter. Followed by a few more shots to the head.

"Holy!" The sinner that talked to him shouted in surprise when he saw that.

The other demons took one look at the demon before they went back to their own talks. The bartender looked at the body bored before he took the body and threw it in the alley before going back to attend the bar.

At the top of a building Cosmo picked up his SKS as he saw the demon dying as he looked at Ritz who striked the name of the demon from his notepad.

After they got the idea yesterday, they have been killing the sinners asked by the Imps at Imp City. In exchange for them doing that Cosmo gains ownership over the souls of the Imps.

He has always killed a dozen demons in the city and since he is killing them using normal bullets they won't be dying anytime soon. Something which eased him a bit as he doesn't want to actually kill anyone if he was being honest.

Since Sinners don't die other than from Angelic weapons, it's fine for him to do that. Not to mention, by diverting the anger of the sinners to an unknown assailant would grant the Imps some freedom from them as the Sinner would try to find him.

Not that they could considering the fact that he is new here and so he intends to use that to his advantage. He looked at his subordinate/servant Ritz as he is looking at the notepad containing the list of targets.

"Next is this guy from across a few yards and this guy is..." Ritz said as he read the list.

"Well, let's do it." Cosmo said with a smile as he made his gun disappear.

Ritz nodded to him before the two of them ran from rooftop to rooftop. Cosmo has gotten used to his new body and found that it is much stronger than his human one.

They soon reached the place and managed to locate the target as Cosmo brought out his gun and took aim as Ritz made sure to keep an eye out. After he got the angle he shot the guy down before he grabbed the gun and moved back.

"That's done." Cosmo said as he looked at Ritz.

"Great. By the way, you should lay low after this and act like you don't know anything. The Sinners here will most likely want to find you." Ritz said to him as he crossed the name.

"I know, we have two more and then we can stop." Cosmo said to him as he made his gun vanish.

Ritz nodded to him before the two ran towards the next destination. But Cosmo stopped midway when he heard the sound of someone asking for help. He looked down a building at the space between the buildings and saw an Imp being cornered by a Sinner as the latter is grinning at the Imp sadistically.

Cosmo however didn't waste a second and summoned his SKS and put a few bullets into the Sinner's skull, killing him and causing the Imp to be surprised. The Imp looked up and spotted Cosmo as he is able to look at the Imp well.
