Hazbin Hotel: The Angelic Demon

3. First Kill?

Cosmo has been wandering around in Hell trying to find out what to do. He has seen Imps and Hellhounds and they seem to just not bother with him. Though the demons did take notice of his form they didn't do anything other than observing.

Suddenly an Imp turned the corner and ran without looking back which caused him to hit Cosmo as the two tumbled on the ground as they both groaned. But the Imp opened his eyes immediately and scrambled to his feet before he ran away.

"What in the world was that?" Cosmo said to himself as he looked at the Imp.

"Get back here you piece of shit!" A bull demon shouted as he also turned around the corner and ran after the Imp.

Cosmo, at seeing the demon immediately moved out of the way as he watched him run after the Imp. After they disappeared from his vision due to rounding a corner he started to correct his dress, but his attention was taken to a handgun that was near his feet.

"Wait, that wasn't there before... Did that Imp drop it?" Cosmo asked himself before he picked it up.

He looked at it curiously before looking at where the Imp ran before he looked at the gun again. He started to fiddle with it curiously as this is the first time he has held a gun. He managed to take out the magazine and saw that it is full.

"Why didn't he use it? Wait, stupid question, Sinners don't die normally." Cosmo said as he put the magazine back in the gun.

He looked at the gun before he shrugged and pocketed it after putting the safety.

"At least watching those movies and videos did something good." Cosmo muttered to himself as he walked away.

He saw some shops, selling guns, furniture, meat, etc etc. He looked at a board and saw that he was going to... Cannibal Town. He immediately turned around and walked away, he was not going to do something that risky.

He also found a vending machine selling drugs which caused him to pause as he looked at it with wide eyes. Before he walked away from it.

'I may be in Hell but I am not going to do that.' Cosmo thought to himself as he walked away.

He has an amount of self respect for himself and is not about to do something like that. He sighed as he saw the various bill boards which were showing advertisements and saw many people on it. There was one showing a porn star called Angel Dust which he immediately disregarded as he looked at the other billboards.

"Huh, I thought they wouldn't have radio towers." Cosmo said as he beheld the large radio towers.

He looked at them for a few moments before he walked away. He also understood that he doesn't have any money on him so he would most need to get a job.

'Finding a job in Hell. Now that's a hilarious thought.' Cosmo thought to himself as he chuckled a bit.

But as fate would have it the same Imp he had seen before appeared again as he was running, thought he now has a bleeding left arm as he saw Cosmo.

"Please! Help me!" The Imp pleaded desperately.

"H-How am I supposed to help you? He's a Sinner isn't he?" Cosmo asked him as he stammers.

"Yes! He's a Sinner so he can't die. But I'm an Imp, if we die we stay dead. Please you have to at least distract him!" The Imp pleaded to him.

"I... Uh..." Cosmo said as his mind drew a blank.

The Imp looked at him desperately before he grabbed Cosmo's hand catching his attention.

"I'll make a deal with you. If you manage to stall him and save me then you will own me. Do we have a deal!?" The Imp asked him desperately as he looked back.

Cosmo looked at him shocked at his words as things were going so fast.

"Do we have a deal!?" The Imp shouted again.

"Ah yes! If I stall him and save you then I will own you!" Cosmo shouted as he parroted the words immediately.

'Oh no... Why did I say that?' Cosmo thought to himself as he realised what he had said.

But that would have to wait as a teal coloured energy came from Cosmo's hand as it flew around them as I ruffled his hair as the demon around them looked at them in surprise before the energy disappeared.

"Thanks!" The Imp shouted before he ran away.

Cosmo stood frozen as he was bewildered by the stuff that had just happened.

'I'm too young for this.' Cosmo thought to himself after the Imp ran.

Though his thoughts would be interrupted when the same bull demon appeared from around the corner with rage in his eyes. He ran and saw Cosmo standing there before he pushed Cosmo to the side as it got him out of his stupor as he turned to the bull demon as he remembered the deal.

'H-How do I stop him!?' Cosmo thought to himself as he looked bewildered.

He now knew that the Imp will die so he can't just let him be killed. Especially since he asked for his help. With that he looked ahead as his eyes widened as he saw a large linear vertical sign at the end of a building.

He immediately took out the gun and aimed at the top binding of the sign as he took aim. He can't bring himself to actually shoot the demon but since that sign is clearly non living he has no problem with it.

He hoped for the best and started to shoot it though the demons around him only looked at him weirdly and walked away, as if a man using a gun in the middle of street was normal to them. But he didn't care and focused on the sign and shot it and managed to break the binding.

With the binding gone the sign fell forward and the lower binding struggled to not break as the sign swung around to the ground.

And consequently smashed the bull demon into the building which the sign was attached to as the sign dug into the building and broke the wall. Before the lower binding broke off and the sign fell with the sound of flesh being crushed following it as Cosmo flinched.

The other demons looked at the sign with wide eyes, before they looked at Cosmo who was blinking at it dumbly before he stopped pointing his gun as he noticed the gazes.

"Uh... Yeah... Bye." Cosmo said before he ran away from there as the demons watched him.

"Well, that happened. I will add that to my tactics." An Imp with striped horns and wearing a suit said as he looked at the sign and then wrote in a small notepad.

He then walked away from the place as the demons resumed their walk. Meanwhile Cosmo ran into and alley and collapsed on the wall as he breathed heavily as his chest heaved. He slid on the wall and sat on the ground as he played what happened here in his mind.

"I just killed him. I definitely killed him. I only wanted to stall him I didn't think the sign would actually fall on him." Cosmo said to himself in a panic.

He took deep breaths to calm down before he looked at the gun in his hand. Then he remembered the Imp and the deal he had made with him. Then an idea struck him as he looked at the gun.

"How do I find that Imp?" Cosmo said to himself as he wondered about it.

He remembered the energy he has felt when he deal was made so he closed his eyes and tried to feel the same energy again. He started to feel the energy and ownit connected him to what he presumed was the Imp.

'Well, I guess I can learn more things from him.' Cosmo thought to himself as he looked at the energy.
