It's been 10 years since the Malhotra family and the Arora family met.
Today, after a long time, they were going to meet at Hotel Parampara, where most rich people celebrate their special occasions.
At 12 pm, 3 black Mercedes stopped in front of the restaurant. Vijay (Tiara's dad) got out of the car. He called someone. "Yaar Abhishek kahan hai tu? Mai pahunch gaya hun," (translation - Friend Abhishek, where are you? I have arrived.) Vijay said while talking on the call. "Haan, pahonch hi gaye hum bhi. Tum log andar jao, hum pohonchte hai," (translation - Yes, we have also reached. You guys go inside, we will reach there.) answered on the other side of the call.
After 5 minutes, the Malhotra family arrived. Abhishek (Aayan's dad) got out of the car first, and after him, his family members got out of the car. "Jaldi jaldi chalo sab, andar sab hamara intezar kar rahe honge," (translation - Come quickly, everyone will be waiting for us inside.) Abhishek spoke in a hurry. "Ji rukiye, sabko utarne toh dijiye!" (translation- Wait dear, let everyone get down.) Parimita (Aayan's mother) answered while giving an annoying look to Abhishek.
After a few minutes, they went inside the hotel.
"Akhir kaar tum log aa hi gaye!" (Translation - finally you guys are here)
"Haanji." (translation - Yes)
Abhishek went towards Vijay and hugged him. On seeing Parimita, Yamini (Tiara's mother) smiled brightly and hugged her.
After seeing each other, best friends for almost 35 years, Joshna (Tiara's grandmother) and Arunika (Aayan's grandmother) had no limit to happiness.
Everyone sat on their chairs and started talking. Suddenly, Arunika asked, "Arey! Tiara kahan hai?" (Translation - hey, where's Tiara?) "Woh aa rahi hogi," Joshna replied. "Ye Aayan bhi kahin dikh nahi Raha..." (Translation - This Aayan is also not visible anywhere) Vijay said while looking around. "Usko office mai kuch kaam tha toh usne bola ki woh thori der se ayega," (translation - He had some work in the office so he said he would come a little late.) Abhishek replied to Vijay.
"Dad, I'm here."

Aayan went towards a chair near his grandmother. He looked at his grandmother and complimented her like every time.
At that time, Tiara arrived.

"Tiara beta bas tera hi intezaar tha hame!" (Translation - Tiara, we were only waiting for you.) Arunika said while pouting her cheeks a bit like a small child.

I was looking at Arunika aunty, but then my eyes proceeded towards Aayan.
Yeh kya! Yeh Aayan bhi yahan aaya hai kya? Mujhe toh laga ye apne kaam mein busy hoga... Chalo chodo, kuch samaye ke liye bardaasht kar leti hun... (Translation - What is this! Has Aayan also come here? I thought he must be busy with his work... Leave it, I will tolerate it for a while...)
The waiter came and took our orders. I started talking with Parimita aunty. She asked about my health, my studies, what I'm doing right now, etc...
She was kinda sweet and kind, but I don't know why Aayan is a bit too much rude to me.
We were in the same school and we were in the same section too in class 6th and class 9th, but he never gave any importance to me.
After a few minutes, the waiters served the food on the table, and we started eating while talking to each other. Of course, we should not talk while eating, but we can't stay silent like that when our families met after 10 years!
We were eating, but suddenly, Arunika aunty said, "Mujhe kuch jaroori bat batani hai..." (Translation - I need to tell something important)

Everyone went silent. "Kya hua mummy? Kya hai woh jaroori baat?" (Translation - What happened mom? What is that important thing?) Abhishek said while gulping his food.
"I have cancer and I have only 3 months left..."
"What? Maa, why didn't you tell me earlier?"
"Just got the test done yesterday."
Everyone was shocked. Aayan couldn't believe it. He looked at his grandmother. Joshna's eyes were tearing up. She couldn't believe it. She got up and slammed the table.
"You're lying, Arunika, YOU ARE LYING!"
"Nahi. Mai jhooth nahi bolungi... Maine yeh baat yahan par isiliye batayi kyunki meri ek akhri iccha thi..." (Translation - No. I will not lie... I told this thing here because I had one last wish...)
Tiara went to her grandma and told her to sit. She calmed her by giving water.
Everyone was willing to listen to Arunika's last wish.
"I want to see Tiara as my granddaughter-in-law"
