The sound of my excessively fast breathing, caused by the shock of receiving an apology from Maharashtra's biggest company's CEO, who never even lowered his voice for someone, but kneeled down for me to forgive him.
He looked at me with puppy eyes, joining his two palms together, requesting me to forgive him for his mistake.
Gosh! I know that was a disaster, and I couldn't forgive someone who ruined many people's moods. But still, looking at his cute, sweet, puppy eyes, I feel fluttered.
I saw him beg like this for the second time. But kneeling down, joining his hands, and begging me to forgive him is the thing I saw for the very first time in my whole lifetime.
"M-maaf? Mai bhala tumko maaf kyun Karun...?" (Translation - Forgive? Why should I forgive you?) I asked him while rubbing the back of my neck, breaking the eye contact between us.
"Aaj ke dinner ke liye! Please!" (Translation - For the dinner! Please!) He said nonchalantly, stopping himself from shouting at me.
All fine! I can forgive him. But it's kinda fun to tease him like that when he is saying that so blandly! I want to play with him more. But it isn't the right time! It's the middle of the night!
"Accha thik hai, maaf kiya... Par tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?" (Translation - Ok fine, I forgive you... But what are you doing here?) I asked him and scowled.
He got up and started looking around, trying to ignore my question, charmingly. His obtrusive behavior was making me puzzled.
After a few seconds of silence, he gathered the courage to speak and said, "Maggi banane aaya tha... Bhook lagi thi..." (Translation - I came here to cook Maggi. I was hungry)
Gosh! Who the hell made him the CEO? He's annoying for real! He's just a cute little baby whose mouth should be shut with a pacifier so he doesn't talk shit like this! 😂
"Mai... Help kardu?" (Translation - Should I help you?) I asked him while looking at the gas stove.
"Help? Hmm... Thoda sa..." (Translation - Yes... A little bit...) He said while making a face like a cute baby.
Aww! I can't! He's so cute like this! Wait... Am I thinking he's cute? Naahhhh! Never! He's not!
I helped him with the maggi and served him on a plate. He ate all at the speed of light. I guess he was so hungry. But it was his fault too!
We both went to the bedroom and, of course, slept!
