Last time, Victor had a mysterious dream, before waking up and saw himself in a Pokémon Center. In there, Gloria was waiting for him, after he was passing out from pain after the Amazon Bangle was installed. After that, they went out and started their first journey together. During their journey, in the Galar Mine, they met up with other two people they've already met before, Bede and Marnie. They tried to find the exit of the mine, so they could get their first badge. However, they've encountered an Amazon, they ran and ran until they finally found the exit, and there, they've been separated by accidentally step into Electrike's territory. And now currently in the story, Hop was mad at Bede for being a bit mean at him while Bede was mad at him for just being a nuisance, while Gloria is trying to get them to start a friendship with each other
Right now, it is now late in the evening, with Victor and Marnie, they've been together and running from the Electrikes. They've stop after losing them and Marnie was the only one panting and exhausted
"How are you not tired from all of that running?" She asked
"Oh, that's because I'm a-" he stops himself from talking further after remembering what Gloria had told him not to do, "I mean... I always run everyday..."
"So you exercise everyday? That makes sense, you have more stamina than me," Marnie said
"Yeah... Exercise, that's the word I'm trying to say," Victor responded
"We lost those Electrikes, but now... We're separated, I hope everybody is okay," she said hoping they'll be fine as they are going to find them
"I wonder how's Gloria is doing?" He wondered
With the other three, Bede is seen drinking a metal bottle he brought that's fill with water, while Hop is sitting across from him, trying to untangle the shoe laces. They're sitting on a log and near each other because their shoe laces has somehow tangled up together
Hop is trying to hard to untangle the shoe laces so he could get far from him, after what he just said to him moments before
"Can you lend me a hand here? This thing doesn't really want to be untangled," Hop said
Bede continues to drink water while glancing at him, as he doesn't want to do the work
"Come on, at least help. If you want to get away from me, you need to help me with this. I seriously can't untie these laces," he said
"Then cry about it," Bede replied
Hop scoffed, "Not in a time like this! Why are you making me do most of the work? This is not the 1800s, you're not my master,"
"Too bad, your skin's dark, so you're made to be under the sun," he responded
"Wha- do you seriously have that mindset!?" He said
"You're the one who is being a large nuisance, if you hadn't gone with me instead, we wouldn't be in this situation," Bede responded
Hop then puts his hands on his neck to try to strangle him, as a result, he knocked the bottle out of his hand that dropped on the ground spilling the remaining water
Bede was obviously angered by this and did the same to Hop to try and strangle him for that reason. Both of them fall from the log and are on the ground, having Hop on the bottom, and Bede on top as both trying to strangle each other
"I don't forgive you for saying that!" Hop said
"And I don't forgive you for being such a massive-" he was interrupted when Gloria calls out on them
"Hey, you both! What do you think you're doing!?"
Both of them stops then turned their heads to see Gloria with twigs and sticks to make a fire. They then separated and now sat up and facing away from each other, but their leg are still tied up by the shoe laces
