My name is Tara McLine. I am 18 years old. I live in New York City. I have hazel eyes and long red hair. Im captain of the cheer team, and in all honors classes. In my spare time I tutor elementary school kids, and am the head of the school board.
I come from a large loving family. I have 2 sisters and 3 brothers and I am the middle child. My oldest sister Brooke is my best friend, she's 21 and we do almost everything together. Then comes my twin brothers Seth and Joel, they are 19 and just the classic older brother types (protective but then are just annoying). Then comes me, and then Sophie and Sol. They're 14 and seriously like devious and irritating! I mean I love them and all, but they could calm down a bit. My mom is a nurse and my dad is the CEO of a global company. It might seem as though I would never see them but they always make time for us.
Some say I have the perfect world. Money, a great family, popularity, and is just is just a kind individual with a great personality (not being arrogant). However, my life is far from ideal. I have been poked and prated ever since I was 4 years old. I am in and out of Mount Sinai Hospital, because I have cancer.
Leukemia, it is cancer of the blood, Ive been in remission for about a year now but since my cancer was always aggressive it always finds a way back to me. Im a senior in high school. My whole life I was popular but pitied. In sophomore year with no hair and weighed about 100lbs. It was junior year that did it. I grew my hair back was in remission, joined cheer and all the other extra cariculars, climbed my way up and stayed there. Im now a senior and I'm finally happy. I hope its not to soon to say... what can possibly go wrong?
