In the G.U.N. section.

Shadow and Rouge stood in front of the Commander.
"ProjectZ24 has been stolen by Eggman. We need the help of our best people. You know what to do."
He explained what the project was and the potential danger.
Then he let them go.

"Ugh, I can't believe they can't protect their most secure things," Rouge said angrily.
Shadow sighed in displeasure and they both ran towards Eggman's base.

(At Amy's home)

Amy woke up with a big stretch.
She looked outside and thought to herself, 'What a beautiful day!'

The morning sun was shining through her window and it was pleasantly warm.
She got up and went to the bathroom to wash her face.

She put on her contacts and then looked down at her arm where she had felt the sting yesterday, but there was nothing there.
Except... her claws were a little longer than usual... but that was probably normal since she hadn't trimmed them in a while.

She brushed her quills on her head, because even though she was a hedgehog, she loved it when they looked more like soft bangs than spikes.

She made herself some tea and sat down in her cute little kitchen.
She grabbed a newspaper and took a sip.

The tea tasted somehow different... this was her favorite, but it tasted now like... nothing. She didn't like it at all.
Well, maybe it went bad. Can the date of the tea even expire? She did not know.

Well, whatever. She looked at her fridge and thought about what she could make for breakfast. But there wasn't a single thing she wanted. Now her appetite was gone. 'Well, I won't eat breakfast then...' she thought.

'I should get some fresh air, maybe that will make me hungry.'

She stepped outside and greeted the beautiful view.
She walked around the city.
The birds were singing and the flowers were shining with different colors.

Cream, the little rabbit girl, walked by and greeted Amy. Amy waved back smiling.

"Hi Cream, what are you doing? " Cream showed her basket of bread. "I just bought some bread for today." She smiled.
" What are you doing Ms. Amy? " Cream asked in her squeaky voice.
"Just admiring the day."

Then they talked a little about how they were doing and other small talk. While they talked, Amy admired the cute flowers on the sidewalk and the bugs flying around. They were all so beautiful and looked really... tasty.

Wait.

Amy shook her head to clear her mind.
Cream tilted her head.
" Is everything okay, Ms. Amy? "
She asked worriedly.
Amy smiled at her, "Yes... I... I have to go. Have a nice day and say hi to your mom for me. " She smiled at her and waved goodbye.

Then Amy walked a little faster.
'What was that just now... maybe I am still dizzy from yesterday's adventure... yeah...'

She passed Tails workshop.

She knocked on the door, hoping someone would answer.

Tails opened the door, which relieved her.
She needed a distraction.

"Hey Amy, come inside! We're experimenting with the machine!"
Amy came in and saw Sonic, who had almost a whole castle made out of chilidogs.

"Hi Amy! Do you want to try some?" He asked with chilidogs in his mouth like the fatass he is.

Tails scratched the back of his head, "Yeah, we were testing the limits and accidentally made like 58 of them."
Amy's tummy grumbled.
Probably because she hadn't had breakfast, she thought.

But for some reason she was really hungry for meat today, so she didn't say no to Sonic's invitation.

She also really resisted the urge to eat it really fast and hardly ate slowly.
" Wow, I thought you didn't like them. " Sonic said.
She barely heard him because she was so focused on the food.

It was so satisfying.

Then she stopped herself after eating about three pieces.

Sonic was already sitting on the sofa, playing games on the Tails console, and invited Amy to join him.

She sat down next to him and played her favorite game.
Tails let them both play because he had something else to do. He went to his workbench and built something else.

Tails' clanking didn't usually bother Amy, but today it hurt her eardrums like never before. It annoyed her.

She looked at Sonic, who was really focused on winning.

She noticed new things about him that she had never noticed before.

She saw his little muscles playing when he pressed the button. His healthy long blue quills and his gleaming teeth as he said "heck yeah I won! "

He looked at her.
"Up for another round?"
Amy shook out of her thoughts.
"Yes. Yes. Of course. " She said sweatily and concentrated on the game again.

What was wrong with her. The clattering noise was still bothering her and seemed to get louder by the second.
It was almost so loud that her eardrums were about to fall off.

She couldn't take it anymore and yelled "SHUT UP" so loud that it echoed through the room.

Tails stopped working and Sonic looked at her in shock.

Silence.

Amy covered her mouth in embarrassment, shocked herself. The video game made a K.O. sound in the background.

"Um... Amy, are you okay?" Sonic asked, holding his hands out to her.
Amy screamed inwardly. "Yea. I'm-I'm sorry, I-" she stood up. But as she looked at Sonic, her only thoughts were 'm a t e'

"I HAVE TO GO NOW" she screamed and ran away, leaving the boys sitting there in shock and confusion.

She ran towards her home.
Everything irritated her now.

Too much.

She was overstimulated by everything. Everything around her was so loud.

Finally she reached her home and slammed the door.
She panted heavily.

'What is wrong with me?'
