Begunkodar Railway Station, located in the Purulia district of West Bengal,
This railway station was opened in the year 1960. Santhal's queen Shrimati Lachan Kumari played an important role in opening it. After the opening of this station, everything remained fine for a few years, but later strange incidents started happening here. In the year 1967, a railway employee of Begunakodor claimed to have seen the ghost of a woman at the station.
It was night time and very few people were on duty at the station. Just then a faint blue light was visible from somewhere in the distance. The station master started looking in that direction carefully. It was making a shape like a horse.
"Neel, what is this?" A very bright and beautiful woman riding a blue horse seemed to ask a question to the horse. She was pointing towards the high-speed train passing through the station.
"Devi, this is an iron vehicle. Humans have created it. Its speed is very fast and it can take many humans from one place to another in a moment. They call it railway or train. This science is the gift of people who have come from Western countries. " surprisingly, the horse replied in human language.
"Oh... it is so, but your speed is much faster than this, but is its speed faster than mine?"
"Who knows? until you compete with the train."
"So what is the delay? Let's go now. "The woman jumped down from the horse and within a few moments, she was running fast, matching the speed of the train. The train continued ahead of her for some distance and then she went ahead of the train. The station master saw this scene with his own eyes. And his legs started trembling. He fell there on the bench.
On the other hand, that woman – "See Neel, my speed is faster than that vehicle. "
"I never doubted your talent. I believed that victory would be yours. But something went wrong," said the horse running alongside.
"What ?"
"The person who has been given the job of looking after this place is called Station Master. He saw you running with the train."
"So what? No one will believe what he says. If he tells anyone about us, people will call him a fool and a madman. This is the glory of Kaliyuga. To avoid becoming the subject of ridicule in society, people pretend to be blind even after seeing. They adopt a hundred ways of denying the truth. They accept the truth as their mental illusion."
"But that man is weak, perhaps he would have died of a heart attack."
"So to strengthen his heart, we will run again tomorrow. "
After that day, whenever the station master was on duty at night, he started seeing a woman dressed in white dancing in front of the train and running at its pace. He also mentioned this to some people he knew. People advised him to stay away from witches. One day his entire family was found dead. The villagers also blamed the same witch for this murder. The police also left the case incomplete as the murderer was unknown.
That woman was never seen there after that.
After 42 years,
This station was reopened in 2009 under Mamata Banerjee's government, but even today the train does not stop here at night. But now trains have started passing through this station.
"There is a notice for you in the newspaper ." A beautiful girl spoke to someone in the air and suddenly there appeared a blue horse with light emanating from its body.
"What ?"
"That iron vehicle has started running again at that station. Where we were blamed for the murder of a family."
