I admired the other shops as I jogged to the small and cozy café I have been working at for the past few rainy weeks.
The tiny droplets of rain glistened as the brilliant blue sky slowly cleared.
I could hear my own footsteps and the pedestrians mutterring from the other side of the road.
I pulled up the hood attached to my new jacket. The rain had completely stopped, nothing but the shimmering sun in the cloudless sky.
A long week of endless rain had stopped, and a little sadness has dissipated from me.
Since it was still early, I continued walking around, accidentally stepping into small puddles of water. The unnoticeable splash sound it made was quite refreshing.
Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew my hood right off my head.
I could feel the piercing stares of some people on me and their voices, including what they were gossiping about too.
When I got to the café, I hung my jacket up on a wooden rack. Everything about this place looked new, the floorboards, bouquets of flowers and the almost entirely transparent windows.
They really did a good job renovating this entire place. It used to be an old and antique unpopular coffee shop.
I kept searching around the place and sighed at the silent café. The sound of rain isn't here to disturb the quietness anymore.
Seems like I was the first one to arrive today, somehow. Everyone must be late.
Unexpectedly, someone opened the door into the café.
I glanced in the direction of the entrance before realizing the customer was a regular. More specifically, a friend I really liked being around.
