Chapter 28: Goodbye For Now

Seohyun's POV

Walking outside, I coincidentally saw Kyuhyun. 

Before he could notice, I turned around and began to walk rapidly. 

"Hey!" he yelled.

I began to walk faster.

Until he pulled me back.

"Kyuhyun, please leave me alone."

And there I ran, leaving Kyuhyun with a blank face.

The following night, I saw him again when I went out to take a walk with Yuri.

"I'll go," Yuri said as she ran off.

"Seohyun.. What's up with you?"

"Nothing."

"You're likee... IDK."

"Kyuhyun, I don't know who you are to me. Who I am to you. This whole thing is confusing me. I just want to not see you all the time. Seeing you makes me want to just be in your arms but that can't happen."

"Okay, I'll leave. Goodbye for now."

I turned around and didn't even realize I was crying till I got back.

Tiffany's POV

 Text from Siwon

Siwon : Help me?

Me : On?

Siwon : Getting a girl

Me : Why me?

Siwon : Cause you're my best friend

I walked out to the nearest cafe to meet up with Siwon. 

It felt like the whole world froze.

"S-S-Siwon..?"

"Tiffany!"

He got up to help push in my chair. 

"Help me? She's beautiful, sweet, and I like her."

"Well, maybe do something from the bottom of your heart. It'll be cute :)" 

My heart ached but I held it and continued to talk with him knowing that he'll be dating soon.

Taeyeon's POV

Waking up from a nap, I realized that everyone left the house. Oh gosh, ugh.

I met up with Leeteuk. Is it weird? 

Arriving at the carnival, I had to pull all my aegyo moves to convince him to ride baby coasters.

"Want to buy a rose for 5 dollars for your girlfriend?" a merchant just came and asked.

"She's not my girlfriend, but I'll buy one."

He handed a 5 dollar bill and handed my the rose.

I tried to hide my face as I could feel it burning up.

We spent the rest of the night at the carnival. I brought him over to the bench where we just sat in silence. "I like you," he whispered. But, he stopped talking thinking that I didn't hear it, but I heard it as clear as ever. I laid my head on his shoulder as he held my hand. 

"Let me take you somewhere," he said. Leeteuk grabbed my hands and began to run and ended up at the beach with stars right above us. 

"It's nice, isn't it?" I said.

"Especially with you."

I looked at the time and my eyes widen.

"Leeteuk, it's 11:11, make a wish," I told him eagerly.

"My dream already came true."

"If it did, what is your dream?"

"You."

When he said that, my face heated up.

From a distance, we saw fans screaming "Leeteuk! Ah!"

"Taeyeon, I think we should hurry and separate before they see us."

I was surprised by his 'leader' move. "I thought you were different," was the last words I said to him before I left.

~~ The next day ~~

Reporters appeared outside our dorms and I hid knowing that the fans took pictures of us last night at the beach.

Sneakily looking out the window, from the corner of my eyes, I saw Leeteuk come out.

A reporter wearing a striped shirt and jeans asked, "Is it true that you are in a relationship with Taeyeon from Girls' Generation?"

"Do you like her?"

"Were you guys together last night?" 

"Did you meet up with each other behind your members' backs?"

Questions kept piling up.

And Leeteuk finally made the move. 

"No, we are not together, we do not like each other too. I don't see her unless it's for our collaborations, shows, SmTowns, and etc. But, we do not meet up or intend to meet up. Thank you." And he left. 

That night, we secretly met up.

"Why did you have to lie? Are you embarrassed to have hung out with me?" I asked.

"No, it's not like that," he said turning his little smile with a slight frown.

"Well, now, there's nothing between us. NOTHING. Let's end it here. I thought you were different enough to admit who you thought I was to you. I never wanted to tell you. I like you. But, if you love somebody, you have to set them free," I said with all my heart and ran. But, he didn't chase me. He turned around and I knew my decision was the best for him.
