Nickel and Balloon became lovers as quickly as a year passed.
a new beginning happened to both of them.

Balloon and Nickel's Professor said "Welcome back to our new semester everyone, to transferres and old schoolmates. We have a couple of new students. Please welcome them with open arms."
*inaudible introductions*
"Hey Balloon, you doing something?" Nickel asked.
"Not really, why?" Balloon mentioned.
"I was thinking-" Nickel stopped when he saw the last person to introduce themselves.
*A penny walked into the room.*
Penny: H-hello. I'm Penny, I--i...
*inaudible introductions*
Nickel looks at Penny slowly, while Balloon looks at him again.
"Nick?" Balloon stuttered. Balloon looked as jealous as ever, and avoided looking at Nickel.
"Balloon, I was thinking that we go out later- Balloon?" Nickel tried to talk to Balloon properly, but Balloon just couldn't help but look away.
"I'm going to the bathroom," Balloon said.
"Oh..? Okay? Be careful. Love you." Nickel whispered and mentioned along the way, but Balloon didn't respond. Yet Nickel catches up at Balloon.
"BALLOON! What is it again?! Do you feel bad? Are you hurt?" Nickel said panickly. Penny seemed to look at each other's conversation between Balloon and Nickel, yet Balloon answered.
"You looked at that girl Penny as if she was better than me, Nickel!" Balloon looked at Nickel with his eyes with rage. He looked like he was to burst into tears.
"No way, Balloon... I could neve-" Penny jumped behind Nickel's back, and said "Oops! U-uhm sorry.. Nickel..? I'll treat you later as an apology.." Balloon looked at them both, walked into their classroom, took his things, excused himself, and went out of the school grounds.
"Balloon! W-wait!" Nickel hurriedly said. "N-no.. wait, Nickel, I said I'll treat you... There's nothing between you guys, right? You're just friends?" Penny assumed.
nickels pov.
Friends? Me and balloon? Friends?!
Me and Balloon could never be friends. I love him, and he.. loves me back.
We both can't leave each other right, no matter how many times we've fought, right?
Right..? He.. can't leave me. Not now, not yet.
not yet. please.
...
"We're.. just friends. yeah. nothing.. else." Nickel mumbled.
"That's great then! Let's go to a diner, I'll treat you!" Penny happily cheered.
"Yeah." Nickel mumbled yet again.
