Sonu took Rickey in their room to console him. Though Gauti scolds him unnecessarily due to his temper but today Sonu got angry with him. Some tiny things accumulated in his mind after coming back in ICT house. Specially Mahi's unconditional affection for Rickey. Gambhir also followed him and slammed the door.

"Saale do din ke bachche, aaya hai taana maarne! Ek din bohot gaali khayega..."

He stopped cursing Virat in himself seeing Sonu's glare and his weeping son.

"Don't cry Rickey...... okay dad will take you to shop"

"Dur raho!!!"

Sonu yelled when Gauti stretched hands for Rickey... --- "Don't act of being his dad. You are NOT!!"

"K...kya bol rahe ho Sonu ?" He seems a little puzzled by Sonu's anger.

"Sahi bol raha hun...... you're not Rickey's dad. If you were, couldn't treat him like a poor orphan!"

"I treat him like poor orphan!!! Could you say this Sonu ? What I hadn't done for you ?"

Satire flowed in Sonu's voice --- "Yes, you did so many things for us! Fed us, gave us shelter and reminded us through your holy words and behaviour that how much mercy you have for us! Treated my son like your concubine's child...."

"Shut up Sonu!!! Bachche ke saamne atleast tameez se baat karo, ya phir tum bhi Virat ki buli bologe ab ?  I never showed mercy but tried to help you, protected you two as far as I can... aur aaj mei Rickey to thoda sa daanta to tum saaf keh rahe ho ki woh mera beta nahi hai ?"

"Yes he's not.... agar Rickey tumhara beta hota to tum kabhi us par itna rude nahi hotey.... kitna shaant hai mera bachcha, phir bhi tum use daante ho, haath bhi uthate ho.... it proves that he's not your son!"

"Okay okay, chillao mat, sabko pata chalega ki Rickey mera beta nahi hai to tumhara izzat hi jayega.... huh! Insaan kitna nimakharam ho sakta hai tumhe dekhke pata chalta hai Sonu. Tum Mahi ka bestfriend ho na, uski tarah hi ungrateful aur opportunist ho!!"

"Khabardar!!!! Mujhe jo man chahe bolo lekin Mahi ke bare me ek bhi buri baat kaha to" Sonu hissed on Gauti,  "Mahi is far greater than you! He loves my son more than you. Yesterday he told me -- tera beta kitna calm aur cool hai Sonu, phir bhi Gauti ise itna daanta hai ? -- do din bhi nahi hue usne Rickey ko dekha, abhi se kitna care karta hai uska.... jo tumne chaar saal me nahi kiya!!!"

"Haan woh to aisa bolega hi!! But tell me one thing..." Gauti said with teasing smile --- "agar itna hi fikar hai use Rickey ka, to in chaar saalon me kahan tha woh ? Uski girlfriend Priyanka ke sath, right ? Aaj Rickey ko thoda pamper kar liya to tum phirse pighal gaye, bhul gaye chaar saal pehle ki baat, jab tum floor me baithke ro rahe the, tab kisne tumhara haath thama tha..."

"Did I ask for your hand that day ? You gave your hand by your own wish! If you didn't, would I die ?"

"You tried for....." (smirked)

But Gambhir lost his temper soon when the little munchkin added --- "Tum gande ho dad, Mayi acha hai...tum muje ol papa ko dante ho"

"Mahi achcha hai ? To mere kandhe par kiun sawar hai ? Nikal ja, apne Mahi ke paas ja... jaa!!"

Gauti starts dragging the little. Sonu tried to stop them but as soon as Gauti opened the door he acted like seeing ghost! It was Mahi and Virat standing by their door, Rickey was crying like hell then.
