•Chester's POV•

It's hard asking for things. Relationships, money, help. And even people's phone numbers.

Me and Parker have been hanging out more. It's been a week and a half since my first day here. I wanna ask him for his phone number because the only time I talk to him is when I'm at school.

I was walking to find him. I don't like how I'm nervous. I saw him. I walked up to him.

"Hey Chester! I've missed you, where have you been?"
He said. He was looking at me with a smile.
"In class. I had to talk with the teacher for a second, sorry."
I went to sit next to him. We started talking for a while until the bell rung.

The conversation felt like five minutes, when really it was 30. Break was over. He walked me to class since our classes are near.

"See you Chester!" He said
"Wait! Can I get your phone number? It's just that I only see you at scho-"

"Yeah of course!" He smiled. His smile was somewhat crooked. In a cute way.

I handed him my phone and he typed in his number. He walked off waving to me. I looked at my phone to see. then I realized.

He put his name with a heart. Not like an emoji red heart, it was one of those hearts that were made with a less than sign and a three. I was looking at it.

"Parker <3" .

I smiled.

•Parker's POV•

He finally asked for my number. I wanted to ask him but I was scared. I don't know why. To me we're like super close. I don't know why I would be nervous to do that.

When he asked for my number my whole body lit up. When I said yes he smiled. The pretty smile he used when I helped him.

I have 2 classes with him. I wanna see him more. Two classes aren't enough. sometimes I wished I had all my classes with him.

I have to get to math. Most of my classes I'm passing. I wouldn't call myself smart, but I'm not dumb. Chester is really smart. His grades are good. And I mean super good.

I'm going to text him as much as I can.
