Hidden Love

It was Duan Jiaxu’s birthday which he does not really celebrate.  However, Sang Zhi decided otherwise and he was the happiest for it.

She waited outside his work with balloons and cake.  She then took him to a pre-booked restaurant where she took over the kitchen to make Jiaxu longevity noodles from her mother’s recipe.  Whether the noodles is palatable or not was immaterial because Jiaxu was too happy to care.

His day or rather evening only got better when he made a wish before blowing his cake.  When Sang Zhi asked what was his wish, he replied that it was about what he asked her previously.

Sang Zhi said that she can easily make it come true and it is a “Yes”

Jiaxu was besides himself with joy.  He kissed Sang Zhi.  Later on, he told her that she was the first and only one he truly fell for so she was forbidden to dump him.

Sang Zhi promised to stay by his side always.

With their relationship now official, Jiaxu was very upfront with Sang Zhi.  He told her that his mother had passed away already while his father was in a coma.  He had settled the compensation for his father’s transgression.  Jiaxu added that he does not have a house but he has his own car and he has some savings.  He is really serious about her.

Sang Zhi is serious about her studies but Jiaxu tends to distract her.  But she did try to be firm.  As a compromise, she went to his apartment to revise rather than the library.

Jiaxu is a good boyfriend, very caring but he does like teasing her.

Anyway, Sang Zhi asked Ning Wei how to behave with Jiaxu.  She confessed that she gets nervous with Jiaxu.

Ning Wei told her to go for it. Seize the moment; enjoy it.

So next time Sang Zhi met Jiaxu, she was more proactive but Jiaxu seemed not to notice what she was trying to do.  She was trying to kiss him while he was teaching her to skate but he seemed to ignore her puckered lips.  Sang Zhi is so cute, they are so cute.

At the dorm, Sang Zhi was told by her roommates that none of them were going back home for the summer holiday.  The girls said they will be doing an internship.  Ning Wei said that she was going on holiday with her boyfriend.

Sang Zhi thought that it was a good idea to do an internship.  She tried to put a feeler about not going home with Sang Yan.

Her brother categorically told her to go home for the summer, otherwise, he will come and fetch her himself.

Sang Yan had been worrying about Sang Zhi dating a much older guy.  He asked Duan Jiaxu if he knew anything about it.

Jiaxu just gave a noncommital answer.

However, Jiaxu could not keep his relationship with Sang Zhi to himself.  He had to tell someone and it was Qian Fei who he told.

Qian Fei was not too happy about it because he knew Sang Yan would blow his top when he finds out that Jiaxu is dating his sister.
