Veneer's Pov: It was just another ordinary day like any other, nothing big happening. I was baking cupcakes, something I can actually bake, for fun.

"Hey Vee, what are you doing?"

"Baking."

"Okay, but what are you baking?"

"Cupcakes."

"What are you baking cupcakes for?"

"Nothing, I just want to."

"Fair."

"Anyways, what are you doing?"

"I don't know." Ritz laughed. "I just wanted to see what my amazing boyfriend is up to."

"Alright, anyway, I gotta put these in the oven now."

"Please, allow me." Ritz opened the oven.

"Thanks!" After I put in the try of batter into the oven, I washed my hands and went to the living room.

"Hey, uh Vee?"

"Yeah?"

"I've been meaning to tell you something."

"Okay, you wanna tell me now?"

"Yes." Ritz cleared his throat. "Veneer Greene, I wrote a song for you."

"You did?"

"Mhm."

"I'm gonna be honest, I never took you as the one to write songs, but I'm not complaining."

"Well, technically it's a parody of a song but, that doesn't really matter."

"Well, what are you waiting for? I'm ready to hear it!"

"Alright, alright, I got it." He took a deep breath and he got out his phone, music started playing. "I have this little thing, It's probably just a fling. One guy I like a lot, I think he's really hot. But I'm not sure if they know, how my love began to grow. It took a lot of time, but right now, it's solely mine. Today! I drew a mural of, the things I'd like to love. And where my heart resides is with a boy with great eyes. If he just gave me a chance, I'd show him what he wants and teach 'em what he's got. I'd tickle each and every one of his fancies and I'd take the key to my heart, and open it, and let the love shine through."

"Should I be concer-"

"Veneer Greene, I hope you understand that I love you a lot and I wanna be your man. And I think that it'd be totally cool if I hung around your apartment and enrolled in your school. Veneer Greene! I saw you on TV, You're singing with your sister. Reminds me of the time, how it's gone, and it's gone, and it's gone. It's sadness every day that passes without you, and I really wanna, really wanna, really wanna hold you tight and tell you you're mine, but instead I sing. Veneer Greene, I hope you understand that I love you a lot and I wanna be your man. And I think that it'd be totally cool if I hung around your apartment and enrolled in your school." Ritz looked at me. 

I knew the lyrics, kinda, I mean, he said it was a parody. "Hello?"

"Hello?"

"Hello?"

"Hey I'm calling from the Tally Hall-"

 "Wait, say that again, slowly."

"What? Hello?"

"Hello?"

"Hey, I'm calling from Tally Hall and I just-" Ritz took a deep breath. "Veneer Greene, I hope you understand that I love you a lot and I wanna be your man. And I think that it'd be totally cool if I hung around your apartment and enrolled in your school. I know that life without you would be sad. And I know it'd be bad. Veneer Greene, I hope you understand that your loveliness blossomed and I wanna hold your hand, and I think that it'd be totally cool if I hung around your apartments and enrolled into your school."

"Once you learn to love me, life will be alright." I became the backing vocals.

"Veneer Greene, I hope you understand that I love you a lot and I wanna be your man. And I think that it'd be totally cool if I hung around your apartment and enrolled in your school."

"Once you learn to love me, life will be alright." After that, I clapped, I gave him an applause if you will, his singing was beautiful.

"Thank you, thank you, I worked very hard on this."

"Okay, well, I better go check on my cupcakes now, I'll give you one to taste after I put the frosting on them."

"Okay."

The end.

Again, this took so long like the last one, in fact I think this one took even longer, like a good few months. Truthfully I think it's because I'm just not as active in this fandom as I was before, mostly because I'm working on other stuff as stated before, So I can't assure you that this will be updated often, but I'll update it when I feel like it, it'll just be updated at random. Also, I know a few of you wanna see some Velchid in here, so I'll try to include Velvet and Orchid in the upcoming chapters/mini stories. I would make a book specifically for Velchid, but I don't have the energy to do that, plus I personally just like to focus on Ritzneer more, but maybe at some point I will make a Velchid book, idk, it all depends on how I feel.
