It was a quiet day in the woods, so quiet that the winds can easily be heard in this world ending era. The world has ended and the infected are roaming the world as they please. City have been taken over and towns being wiped off the face of the planet and it's all thanks to the GRE. Tho that all happened over 15 years and now people who survived are now living in small villages and settlements around the world. Now in the woods we see an abandoned building, a place where people had their last celebration for the end of the world. Now the building is left silent and at peace, until two survivors wonder in the building. One was a survivor who still roam the world even after the event of harran, his name is spike. The second is a survivor who goes to help people, but is also on a mission to get to somewhere. His name is Aiden him and spike are known as pilgrims, those who venture beyond anything. Right now aiden and spike are searching the place. Aiden goes and opens a door to look around for anything. He sees nothing else in this room, until he gets spooked by a couple of rats. After that spike hears what happen and goes to check up on Aiden.
Spike: Aiden! Everything all right?
Aiden: ya... Just rats *walks out of the room*
Spike: think it's time we parted ways
Aiden: why?
Spike: I'm startin' to worry about you. And you know are saying; if your starting to worry about someone, it means it's time to go
Spike leaves to the next room and aiden goes to check the place for something. He looks to see if anything is useful, but only found junks that doesn't work. Tho finding scraps is something that could help him in the journey. He finds a news article that talks about the event of harran. He finds a poster that says "the last spring party of 2023". He's goes to the next room where spike is and finds an old bottle of wine and wondered what it tasted like back then. Than he finds a record player with a disc that says "who do you voodoo" tho it seems familiar with him. Last he goes to a portrait of a painting and is creeped out from it, why was this called art he says to himself. After a minute of looting the place he goes to the next room. This one was heartbreaking.
The room is a bar room that goes outside and in this room are the decaying corpses of those that once celebrated here. A couple of rotten skeletal remains are seen on floors, couches, and chairs all with bottles next to them. Aiden goes to one in a red dress and sees a book Infront of it, he looks see it say... Sorry Dave, goodbye.
Aiden: that's heartbreaking
Spike: *walks up to him* there's nothing like a party to celebrate the end of the world
Aiden: they died on their own terms
Spike: let's hope we get that lucky, too *sighing* aiden, I'll see what's upstairs. You check out the garden, ok?
Aiden: ok
Aiden goes to the outside where the garden is. He is sighted to see a pool that's has dead remains in the water, but he also sees more corpses of the people everywhere. He checks around the place and finds two skeleton remains. There is also a picture next to them, so he looks to see what it is. It turns out to be a picture of two couples and this rotten remains was actually them. He felt sad of seeing them dying together in this world.
Aiden: at least they had each other
Aiden puts the picture back and continue to search around, he sees another corpse in the pool with a red dress and a floaty it was holding onto.
Aiden: she was classy
Than he passed by a couple of more than are gathered together. Than he sees a table with pictures and note on it. He goes to see a picture of the people here, one picture was lying down so aiden fix it up. He sees a note in front of it, he picks it up and reads it
