Abby had worked at Dave's bar and grill for a little over a year, and well, it was always the same.

The same old customers coming in ordering their bottles of bud or whatever they seemed to be craving along with a steak or bacon burger. It was always the same.

The job creeped her out. Not with being a waitress, she had done that before, but the looks in the men's eyes, even before they had a lick of their beers made her skin crawl.

It was mandatory for your shorts to be short and your shirts to be practically two sizes two small. It was disgusting, but she needed the money, especially if she ever wanted to get through collage.

As the door chime jingled, Abby's head swiveled, her chocolate brown eyes finding two men, one much taller than the other, though they seemed connected, brothers maybe.

"Hey I'm Abby, I'll be serving you tonight. Table or bar?" She asked as she realized the shorter of the males had his eyes trained on her, the taller one seemed to be the only one to hear her. "A table please." He said, as she nodded, rolling her eyes at the green eyes that were looking at everything but her face.

"Right this way." She said leading them to a table towards the back. "Can I start you boys off with a beer?" She asked. "Yeah, uh- two please." The shorter one said, giving her a grin that she played on with. "I'll let you figure out what you want, and I'll be right back." She told them, dropping her award winning smile as soon as she turned around.

"Come on Abs, you gotta smile." Her boss told her with his two faced smile. "I am. I don't have to be a clown 24/7 Mark." Abby hissed as she grabbed two long necks, headed back to the table.

"Here you are boys? Are you ready to order?" She asked as the shorter one glanced over her again as she tried not to scrunch her nose in disgust. "I'll have the all American salad." The tall one said, adding a please to the end as she smiled. "I'll have the bacon cheese burger, with fries and a side of you." He said flashing her a grin.

"You wish." She said and it seemed to make the man stop in his tracks as the other male hid a smile behind his hand, but she could see the amusement in his eyes. "Uh- just make it a double fry." The man said, rubbing his neck nervously. "Alrighty, I'll get it put in. And by the way sweetheart, I'm not a side. I'm a whole meal." Abby said as she walked away, putting in the order. She could see the his green eyes widen as a chuckle seemed to leave him, a smirk made its way to her face.

Meals were served, drinks were poured as the night went along, until one of her regulars came in, already starting his night off strong before he sat foot in the bar. "Abby! Will you pour me a scotch?" He slurred, half way leaned over bar. "Ralph, I think you've had enough. Why don't you go on and get home." She told him offering him a smile.

Gabbing ahold of her arm, his grip like steel, he stopped her in her tracks as his eyes bore into hers. "I said pour me a scotch." "And I said you've had enough. Let go of me." She told him, matching his ferocity, though Ralph didn't let up. "She said let go." The shorter male said as he walked up to them, the taller one behind him, his watchful eyes on her.

"Mind your business, kid." Ralph hissed as his grip became tighter, Abby wincing at the pressure. The shorter one swung, clocking the drunk upside the head, his hand releasing the waitress who then stepped between the two men.  At the commotion, Mark came from his office, a scowl on his face. "Abby?" "Ralph got rough again. These guys helped me out." She said as she rubbed her already bruising wrist.

"Alright, I'll call him a cab. Are you alright?" He asked. "Aside from a bruised ego, I'm fine." She told him and he nodded. Turning to look at the men, she smiled, genuinely. "You didn't have to do that, but thanks." She said and the shorter one nodded. "No problem. Guy seemed like a dick." "He can be a problem, but usually he doesn't come in stumbling drunk either." Abby pointed out, holding out her hand. The shorter one grabbed it, shaking it.

"Now we're even." "Even?" He asked. "You helped me out, now I'm helping you. Meals on the house." She said and the shorter one smiled. "You don't have-" "I know. Just take it big guy." She said and he chuckled. "Dean." "Dean." She said, trying the name out on her tongue as she glanced to the man behind him. "And my brother Sam." "Well thanks to the both of you." She said to the both of them, "I'll get your bill taken care of."

Slipping off to the back Dean sighed. "Man, one that got away." "I wouldn't be so sure." Sam smirked as he saw her leaking from around the corner.

Laying the remainder of their ticket down, she patted the table. "Have a good night boys." Looking at the bill, Dean turned it over, seeing the scribbled writing on the back.
