The spring festival is around the corner , everyone's excited , the castle is filled with spring decorations, and sweet melodies and joy , I was sitting in the west garden , taking a break since I just finished making a bracelet for my father's sword, and one for Damon in case he shows up , the spring festival also has a special event, that comes every few years , it's the hunting troops, only nobles can be engaged in it , they should hunt some magical creatures, to keep balance in the dark forest , the dark forest is a beautiful large forest that has a special mana on its own , it protect itself but also give the magical creatures safety and protection too , the magical creatures classify in two categories, first one is a dangerous and can cause death, and can't be tamed called alpha 0-45.
The second ones ,are powerful too but peaceful, may cause some damage so you should always be cautious in encounter with them,
But in most cases they always stay away from others , called omega 0-46, in the hunting event, they're only allowed to hunt alpha 0-45 , that's why only the strongest and toughest lords can be engaged in the hunting ceremony , my father will be one of them with my mother's company, I wanted to join them too ,but they refused immediately saying it too dangerous, especially that I still struggle a bit to control my powers, so I will have to attend as one of the spectators, I got down stairs to say goodbye, since they will be leaving tonight, because it's a two days trip , as I was walking down stairs, I noticed a tall figure, I can't help but notice him talking to my father, as his massive back facing me , I got closer, hearing my father telling him to take care of me , and look after me until my trip to meet them again come to place , " father ?" Soft tone, as I looked up at my father a bit confused, but mixed with curiosity, my father smiled as he caressed my hair " my dear, I want you to meet Damian your new bodyguard " , i felt butterflies in my stomach after hearing his name , I looked up at Damian to find his eyes already looking down at mine with coldness, yet a bit of playfulness , I bite my inner cheek to stop myself from smiling, and quickly looked away from him ,back to my dad and nodded softly, my mother came down just at the right time , in excuse for me to get away, I quickly walked to her and hugged her as I pout " mother, your really going to leave me here alone and go without your daughter " I faked cry , she shukeld and pat my head," oh come on dear , your all grown up now ,am sure you can take care of yourself ,and you're not alone , your bodyguard is here to protect you and makes you feel safe " caring tone , as she caress my hair , I nodded as I giggle and stept back " have a safe trip" I smiled warmly, waving good bye, as they got in the carriage and dissappear slowly before my eyes .
I sighed ,missing them from now , suddenly I felt a strong grip around my waist , and his head on my shoulder ,I turn around, hugging him back as I look up at his face , and shukeld " I need some explanation you know " soft tone, he leaned down to my face , and picked my lips in a gentle light kiss , and raise his hand from my waist to my cheek slowly , as I leaned on it looking up at his red eyes , they were red as blood, his skin color is as white as milk, but still gave him the charm for me to fall for him all over again, then he spoke stopping my thoughts ," your father was looking for a bodyguard for you , so I decided to apply for the job , since I've missed you anyways, and it's been a long time, since the last time we met princess " with a calm tone , as his eyes looking down at mine , when suddenly he teleported us to a strange room , it was dark ,decorated by red stuff ,I looked up at him confused " where are we ?" Soft tone, as I look around, it was kinda of scary, I felt his thumb caressing my cheek , as he bring my face up to meet his ," this is my room ", he mumbled under his breath before pulling me into a long passionate kiss ....
