If Tori thought things couldn't get worse, she had just realised that they could. She lost everyone who mattered to her. The situation had been posted on tea accounts, everybody siding with Nathan and the triplets. Tori had nobody in her corner.

She packed her bags and checked out of the hotel earlier than planned. Nathan's birthday was the next day, but she would be back home in Connecticut by then. She decided to send Nathan a text before she began her journey back home.

i wasn't going to call you on your birthday because
i had planned to surprise you for it at the triplet's home.
the friends i had met through social media wasn't a lie.
i reached out to the triplets to get them to help me surprise you.
i wanted to make your birthday special; one you'd never forget.
i wasn't trying to hurt you, nathan. all i wanted to do was give you
the best birthday possible.

people say you're as genuine off camera as you are on, but after being in
