Hello everyone, I'm the author. I wanted to let you know that I'm taking a break from my other story, "The Misfit," due to some personal issues. Right now, I'm focusing on "Desired, but Never Loved."
Just to provide some context, this story isn't entirely fictional. To be honest, it's based on true events, though not my own experiences, but those of someone I know. The narrative will be from Ashrah's point of view, but please hold back from judging the second lead too harshly, as she's dealing with a lot of personal challenges that Ashrah isn't aware of.
And very soon, you'll also get to read Erva's side of the story.
This story is indeed quite sad. It explores into the caste system, focusing on the relationship between a Hindu and a Muslim girl. There's no discrimination intended towards anyone, but I aim to portray the harsh realities of the world within the narrative. I hope you'll judge neither my writing nor my characters too harshly.
