The Return

The months passed. (wild) Uzi and N met regularly. And N seemed to be doing much better too, even though he misses the old Uzi that he loved so much. But he was just happy that he could spend time with her again and that she filled his former hole with love and affection. Unfortunately, V seemed to notice this, as did Uzi's mom, and became suspicious of N, and wondered why he went from being a depressed boy to a golden retriever boy so suddenly. It took Uzi a few days to finally warm up to N. 

But now the two were inseparable friends. Uzi taught N instincts she came up with to better survive. Her one file, which contained her entire life, continued to be deleted, piece by piece, as she was only using her other, new file, which made her behave like a wild animal. On one particular day, N's birthday to be honest, he planned to show her old home because he thought she had most likely forgotten about it. Since V and Nori were busy anyway and weren't in the house, N led them out of the forest for the first time, still on all fours. They walked together, side by side, and N led the way.

A few hours have passed and N had shown her his entire house in the hope that she would remember a little of it. But it happened as he had suspected, and she didn't know which house she was in. N sighed and went into the bathroom, leaving her standing in the middle of the room. She looked around curiously and sniffed the area. She ran around and eventually she reached her room. She ran on all fours, sniffed around until she found something to play with and started going crazy. She became so wild that she hit her head hard and fell to the ground as she passed out and her screen cracked and went black. 

While she was unconscious, all the memories that she lost or deleted played in front of her, and her CPU started to restore those files as the two files/folders that she had separately started to mix with each other, and became a whole. And after a few minutes of processing and restoring the lost files, everything was played in front of her until she finally woke up screaming from her powerlessness, holding her chest and breathing hard. She sat looking around her room as she placed her hands on her head.

Uzi's pov
''I-I made a... terrible mistake... why was I like that...'' Then I heard a noise coming from outside my room as I see N enter. He looked at me, no idea what had just happened. I fought to hold back my tears. I knew he had been hiding something terrible from me, but I couldn't really blame him or stay mad at him for too long. Because in years gone by, he gave me everything anyone could want, and I was happy then. 

I was brought out of my thoughts when N snuggled up to me, but I didn't say anything back this time, which confused him. He looked at me as I walked to the door on all fours and stopped at the doorframe when I suddenly stood up, didn't look in N's direction, and hung his head as I leaned against the doorframe and folded my arms as I whispered softly, ''I-I... I'm s-so sorry... e-everything...'' and then I started whimpering and sobbing.
N's pov
I didn't believe my eyes. It was Uzi... the real Uzi I knew, and that I loved. 

I was in shock, to see her so suddenly, and I wasn't prepared for that, but I could no longer hold back my friends as tears of joy welled up in my eyes and I slowly walked towards Uzi. ''U-uzi...'' I said quietly, barely audible, as I wrapped my arms around her waist, turned her around, and hugged her tightly, tighter than ever before. I wiped some strands of hair from her face and the tears she had. ''N-N... i-i'm s-so... sorry... for what i did.... i-i was just... so... so...'' ''angry... I know...'' I filled her last word... and held her tightly, and I still couldn't believe that she was really here, that her old self was back. 

Despite the gloomy mood a few seconds ago, I could hardly contain my joy and I immediately kissed her on her soft lips, which I missed so much. I then quickly pulled back and placed my forehead on hers and whispered. ''th-this is the best birthday ever...thank you'' As I pulled her into another warm hug.
Authors's pov
Uzi couldn't believe it. She was happier than ever when the hug was returned, and whispered quietly, "T-thank you N... I-I'll forgive you..." When N heard that, he was the happiest he'd ever been before. He pushed and pinned her to the ground, licking and kissing her face in joy, and his tail wagged really fast. Well, looks like they're good again
