This is kinda based off the episode of friends where Ross makes a pros and cons list for Rachel.
"Dude, just ask him out." Russ said.
"I can't." I say.
"Why not?"
"Because I'm in relationship." Russ and I had just finished recording a game and we were now talking about this.
"So, brake up with Mad. What does he honestly have to offer you?"
"He likes me."
"So does Felix."
"You don't know that."
"Yes I do!" He insists.
"How? Did he tell you?"
"He didn't have too. Anyone with eyes can see it."
"I don't see it." I point out.
"That's different."
"How so?"
"Your a part of it. You never notice when your a part of it."
"I noticed with Mad."
"No you didn't, he told you."
I sigh. "I don't know."
"Ok, how about this? What do you dislike about Felix?"
"Well, for starters he can be a bit loud. He also gets pretty obsessive. And sometimes he can be a little naïve. Oh and he complains about everything. Like, we get it, being the number one on YouTube sucks. How about having some real problems. And sometimes he can be really annoying. Like, grow a pair and get over it already!"
"Ok, now what about Mad?"
"He's aggressive and rude. He is sloppy and sometimes he's just a flat out jerk. And... and he's not Felix." Even though I couldn't see Russ through Skype, I knew he was smirking. "Oh my god, your right!"
"When am I not?"
"I have to call Felix! I'll talk to you later." Then I hung up, Called Mad and broke things off with him. He was upset and I could tell he wanted to hit something. Good thing I didn't go see him. I hung up that call as well and called Felix. I asked him if he wanted to come over and help me edit because I was having a small problem. This was a lie but I had to get him over here some how. He said that he'd be there in ten minutes and I went to start editing so it looked like I got stumped. But surprisingly, the video wouldn't download. Great! Now I wasn't lying! I don't try to fix it, instead I just leave it like it is and walk into my living room and wait for Felix to arrive.
About seven minutes later, there was a knock at my door. I jump up and throw it open. "Hey Cry....Are you alright." He asks, concerned. I had been thinking about what to say and I guess it made me look troubled. I decided to go with it .
"Um, Yeah, yeah I'm fine." I say quietly to give off the impression that I am NOT fine.
"Seriously, what's up?" He asks worriedly.
"It's just... I um... I left Mad."
"What? Why?"
"Because I... I kinda like someone else." His face twists into something I hadn't seen in it before. Jealousy. Disappointment. Did he really have feelings for me?
"Wh-who?" He asks, shakily.
"Well he's um, he's got these really beautiful eyes. And gorgeous hair." He looks down like he's thinking. "He's also got this really cute accent." Now he looks up at me funny. He has an idea of who I'm talking about but obviously doesn't want to say it.
"Wh-what's his name?" He asks.
"I think you know." I say and step a bit closer to him.
"Yeah, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm wrong." He rubs the back of his neck and I take another step towards him.
"Just throw a name out there." Another step.
"Let me see," he rubs his chin, "is it... Ken?" He jokes and this time he takes a step closer.
"Nooo."
"Jack?" Another step. Our chests were just about touching and I felt my pulse increase.
"Nope."
"Is it me?" His face is inches from mine and I can't help but smile and inch closer and closer.
"Right on the nose." I say and our lips collide. It was nothing like what I felt with Mad, or anyone for that matter. It was amazing and it felt so right. We stay there for a while and when we finally pull apart, we stay close and smile at each other.
"Did you actually have a problem with your computer or did you just want to tell me that?"
"Well I called you just to tell you that, but then I noticed something was wrong with it."
He chuckled and leaned in to kiss me again. "Ok, how about you go get us a snack and set up a game, and I'll go fix your computer?"
"Sounds good to me." I say and pull away. He heads towards my recording room and I go to the kitchen. I pull out a few things for a snack before I hear laughing.
"Cry?"
"Yeah?"
"The reason it wouldn't upload onto your editing software was because you forgot to stop the recording." I face palm and chuckle along with him. "It's alright though, I turned off your recording and its uploading now."
"Thanks." I call and sit on the couch. So I had forgotten to turn off the recording? Stupid me.
Wait...
I FORGOT TO TURN OFF THE RECORDING!!!
I rush to the room and stop dead in my tracks as I hear the sound of my voice coming from the monitor.
"How about having some real problems. And sometimes he can be really annoying. Like, grow a pair and get over it already!"
I walk Ito the room to see Felix with tears in his eyes. "I can explain." I start.
He pauses the video and stands. "No need. I get it." He says.
"Really?"
"Yup. I'm just gonna take my fake problems and go now." He brushes past me and to the door.
"Felix! Wait!"
"Nope. I just doing what you said. I'm growing a pair!" He opens the front door.
"What about your pros?"
"Like what?!" He snaps as a tear falls from my eyes.
"All the things I said to describe you before. Like your eyes and..."
"So my only pros are my looks? Thanks! That is so sweet of you!" He turns back towards the door.
"No! That's not what I meant I just..."
"Goodbye Cry." He says and slams the door behind him.
A/N
I don't believe any of the cons that I wrote down. And it honestly bugs me when people say things like that about him. Problems are problems, no matter how stupid they might seem to someone, you have the right to have problems.
