Rogue Army - Assassination Mission

I wake up.

I really don't wanna stand up. I wanna keep sleeping but my alarm keeps ringing...
Birds are singing and I can see the sun through the blinds though...
I finally get out of my bed, turn off my alarm and gaze upon my messy room. It's certainly filthy, considering the amount of tissues and food packagings littered all over my desk and floor. The bin is full of it too. It's smells. The room. My bed smells. I should open the window, it really smells like a dirty back-ear area.

I walk, trying not to step on trash, towards said window. A gust of fresh rushes in as I open it, it feels good and smells nice. It reminds me of the air the night has when you go out during a party night. I lift up the blinds too, revealing a beautiful red sky, with a light blue sun at its zenyth.

Light bounces on the walls, floor and furniture of my room, highlighting the dirtiness of the place. I sigh and carefully sweep them with my feet to the "bin corner" of my room, where they start to form a rather big pile of tissues. I suddenly stub my toe into an unexpected round object. I crouch and grab my foot, scanning the ground to find out what did I hit to hurt myself, only to realize my sheathed saber was covered by my clothes on the floor, themselves previously covered by tissues. "Damn...", last night must have been pretty messed up for me to even forget to put those on their stand.
My door then opens, to reveal Ol'Ga, brushing her teeth.
- Kahnyuunaht ? (muffled)
- What ?
Ol'ga goes to a door on the left and audibly spits the content of her mouth before returning.
- Can you not ?
- Not what ?
- Break your feet and possibly not be able to even start our mission, she says smirking.
- I did not though...
I try to stand up, pain radiates from my right foot but it is bearable and seems to quickly calm.
- See ?
Ol'Ga, seemingly unconvinced by my demonstration of vitality and endurance, shrugs with a smug smile and leaves to the living room. She screams "Also get your clothes on ! We're gonna have to leave soon !"

Now ready with my room somewhat clean and my uniform and saber equipped, I get out of my room and meet with Ol'Ga in the living room, eating an omelette.
- Since when do we have eggs here ?
- Oh, uhhh... Let's say they're both natural and not, she says while smiling out of embarrassement.
- Are you literally eating your own egg ???
- Would you believe me if I said no ?
- Of course not, but I'll take one too, 'cause I didn't get to eat yesterday. I didn't know metamorphical magic could let one do this.
- Well, being able to live as long as me certainly helps with mastering such kind of magic, she brags.
- Old hag.
- Hey I'm still young for an half-elf !

We got out from our small house we called our 'temporary base' and are now heading towards a small village. But something feels off, birds are awfully quiet for such a region, yet I don't feel any electrical devices near, or magical items.
Further down the road we meet a hooded figure, standing there, menacingly. We stop and observe the stranger of velvet red silk cape with a huge green scarf similar to mine only puffier. The hood is a stark yellow and seem to be made out of leather rather than the smooth material of his regalia-like clothing. The wind rises and the cape unnaturally stays straight, as if wind couldn't touch it. Unfortunately the sun does not help me or Ol'Ga to identify who this person might be, so I draw my sword and slowly put myself in my defensive stance. I take a quick glance at Ol'Ga who doesn't even seem to care, until I notice what seems to be tentacles running the back of her legs, in her shadow, and carefully infiltrating the ground. The person slightly lifts his head and supposedly aims his gaze towards me. At that moment, that indescribable feeling rushes in my head and mind, countless images and words flow through vision and ears, simultaneously, "GO" "GONE" "VILLAGE" "MISERY" "MISSION", an army rampaging through helpless villagers, one man stands out...
Ol'Ga looks at me confused, and when she looks back the Order briefer, she is struck by the same amount of informations. Now knowing why everything is so calm and who this person was, I sheathe my blade and nod, and depart to our new target location.

- So, did we see the same thing ? asks Ol'Ga.
- You mean the rogue army rampaging innocents ? With their leader and all ?
- Yes.
- Yeah probably then.
- What do you think he's like ?
- The leader ?
- Yeah, I saw he had some kind of spear and an axe at the same time... Ol'Ga seems to be worried about it.
- Don't worry we'll do fine, I reassure her.
- Oh I don't doubt about my abilities to get to him even with his range advantage and armor breaking capabilities, but what about you ? You only have your saber and you tell me you have powerful magic at disposal but I have yet to see it.
- Don't be such a mood killer, I whine.
- Better be a mood killer than having you dead on this "easy mission", as you said.

After a while of debating and arguing, we arrived near the rogue camp. It wasn't as heavily guarded as we thought it would be but here we are ! We went on a nearby hill to have a good view of the camp, make our strategy and assassinate the rogue leader. Our mission contract never explains the ways we are supposed to do it but I won't complain about it.

In the end, we didn't choose any strategy, or didn't even take time to think of one. We just came in through the front door, and started fighting. When the two guards saw us calmly walking towards their main entrance, they looked so confused and when they started raising their rifles towards us, I quickly slashed one's head and severely wounded the other one so that he would have enough time to warn the others but not to be treated. I told him to go and tell the rest we're here for them and he just started running. But the trail of blood he leaves behind is much more than I had expected... Did I miss ? Meh, he'll probably have enough time to reach the camp's main area. Ol'Ga is currently digging through the ground as she wants to make a great entrance herself, so I walk alone in the camp. I have met very few enemies, I took most of the rogues by surprise, until I turn a corner and nearly die. I giant spear just flew in front of my nose, crashing into the wall on my right, which crumbles and falls into fine dust and huge stone chunks. I look to my left and see a literal colossus. He is about three times my size and the armor he is wearing actually looks more like traditional plates staked on top of each other to cover his full body.

- Mercenary ! he shouts. What is your goal in this unlawful slaughter of my men ?
- I like seeing blood on my sword ! I gleefully respond.
A loud rumbles suddenly makes the floor crack, only for a giant creature to appear, leaving most of the soldiers terrified and making me even surprised for once.
- And for the money !! the creatures loudly adds, revealing that it's Ol'Ga.

Seemingly in disbelief and rage, the huge warrior screams at the top of his lungs and turns back to me before running towards me, axe raised. I ready my sword and stay in a relaxed stance, waiting the strike to come while I start to charge my left arm with electricity until it emits visible arcs. When in range, he tries to stop himself but his weight and momentum makes him slide towards me, but it seems to be part of his strategy, so I jump as high as my legs and magic allow me, only for him to rotate his arms and swing it upwards. I nearly get hit by it but I managed to deviate his axe by releasing my electricity as a lightning bolt and aiming as his attack. Though it would have been enough to kill an elephant instantaneously, it seems Big Man wasn't affected by this attack. I can hardly control my trajectory in the air, so I can't dodge or block effectively the ineluctable kick to the ribs he planned for me afterwards. I fly towards the already broken wall and meet with another wall, cracks forming from my impact both on the wall and my bones, before falling to the ground completely still. I can't move but I'm already using magic to heal my bones. I can hear loud thuds coming closer to me, I assume it's the giant leader closing in on me. It sounds like he took back his gigantic spear, I guess he wants to impale me ? "Your fight was pathetic, unbecoming of such a sociopath !" he says with spite and emotion. I nearly finished healing my legs as he lifts his spear and plunges it into the ground where I was. He looks frustrated and looks around before I strike him continuously with lightning, forcing him to kneel and pinning him down. He grunts a lot but can't actually speak, which just makes me laugh as I slowly walk to his tense body. "Your fight was pathetic, unbecoming of such a behemoth of a man !" I say, before puncturing him multiple times at his throat, heart, lungs and liver. I finally finish him off with lighting to his heart to stop it and he falls to the ground lifeless and with his blood recoloring the yellow dusty dirt. I turned back and notice the rampage Ol'Ga has perpetrated. It's quite rare for her to do such things but she seems to have fun being a big lizard like creature, sending helpless soldiers in the air. She even kills some of those who tried surrendering but kept a few of them away from danger apparently, though I wonder why.
