A/N- Ladies and Gents, at the top of the page I give you...Blake Palmer. Happy reading x#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#
Kelsey
Blake and I jump into the front of his car and I'm filled with excitement.
I can't keep the grin off my face and adrenaline is already rushing through my veins.
He fires up the engine and I wave at Olivia from the window. Tyler looks anxious and I wink at him in reassurance.
Blake drives towards the starting line and I can see the crowd gathering together. They get as close to the start line as they can and I hear chanting begin. Some are shouting for Hugo and there are a lot of people shouting 'good luck' to Blake.
The familiar girls come out to the front of the car with their flags and I double check that my seat belt is fastened securely.
"You ready for this Kels?" Blake asks, not taking his eyes off the road.
"Oh yes." I reply, confidence bubbling up inside of me.
The girls raise their arms in the air and both Hugo and Blake begin to rev the engines. I look to my side at Hugo. He's in a black car with silver lightening rods painted up the sides. He looks at me watching him and blows me a kiss. I smile sweetly at him and then raise my middle finger.
Take that f*cker.
The girls in front lower their flags and we literally blast forwards. The car is going at lightening speed and I feel an amazing sense of freedom.
I hold onto the passenger door in both excitement and fear. Blake is deep in concentration as we come to the end of the street. He spins the steering wheel and we fly back around to face the opposite direction. The tyres screech against the road and we pause for a decimal of a second. Then Blake slams his foot down on the accelerator and we're off again. Hugo has a slight advantage over us and it's beginning to make me nervous.
Once Blake is in fifth gear I put my hand over his on the gear stick, "I need you to win this for me okay? You can do this Blake!" I call out to him. It seems to give him the boost he needs and he floors it. The car cruises past Hugo's and we now have the lead.
Blake manages to hold out and as we cross that finish line first I'm filled with joy. My heart is racing.
Blake slams his foot down on the brake and once the car's stopped he pulls up the handbrake. We both climb out and I run around to his side. I literally jump at him, wrapping my legs around his waist and gripping him tightly in a hug.
"You did it!" I exclaim.
"I knew you could do it Blake!"
He holds onto me tight, like I'm a lifeline, "You just became my lucky charm Kelsey. If you didn't give me the boost I needed I would've lost. I have no doubt." He shakes his head and releases a long breath.
People are all around us congratulating Blake on his win. The crowd grows louder and louder.
Blake takes hold of my bare waist so he can lower me to the floor and as soon as his hands touch me; everything changes. I feel tingling sparks against my skin. I look into his green eyes and I know he can feel it too.
Pure chemistry.
With his slightly rough hands paused on my bare hips I can only conjure up images of him touching we everywhere else.
I can see lust in his vision as he looks down at my flat stomach. He closes his eyes tightly all of a sudden and shakes his head. I know he's trying to clear his mind.
