A/N-
I absolutely loved writing this chapter. I think everyone will want a Blake Palmer in their life after this. I hope you all enjoy it xx*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*
Kelsey
I'm startled awake on Saturday morning by someone banging loudly on the front door. I climb out of bed and drag my exhausted body down the stairs. I must resemble something from dawn of the dead.
The knocking starts again and pull the door open. There's a delivery man standing there and he's holding four huge bunches of white roses.
I take one look at them and know Blake sent them. I sign for them and carry the bunches through to the kitchen. I drop them down on the table and love the way the white petals look against the oak.
Each bunch has a small card attached and I sit down at the dining table to read the words written on them.
The first note says, 'Kelsey, I will spend everyday from now on showing you why you should choose me. Love from your Blake x'
I bite down on the side of my lip and begin to feel emotional. The words 'your Blake' are on a loop inside my head.
The next note I detach from the roses simply says, 'Us xx' and I smile.
The third one has a heart drawn in the top corner and I can't help thinking about how adorable he is. 'Let me make you my everything. Give me a chance Kels xx'. I can't control the moisture starting to build behind my eyelids anymore and the floodgates open.
I want to choose him more than he could ever know. The only problem is my confusion over wether I really want to be part of his world.
His dad's business dealings must make things dangerous for him. I'm not naive, I know how these things work. Gang rivalry and family becoming targets. I don't want to put myself in any unnecessary danger.
The last note I pick up makes me crumble, 'I've never had a girlfriend, because I was looking for the one...you Kelsey Grant x'
~*~
I spend my entire morning going over the pro's and possible con's of dating Blake. By the beginning of the afternoon I make a decision to give him a chance.
As long as he will promise to keep me away from the things his dad is involved in, then I don't have a reason to worry.
I sit in the back garden on a sun lounger and open up the Facebook app on my phone. I go into my messages and inbox Blake.
'I'm thinking it's about time you gave your girlfriend your mobile number xx'
'Seriously?' He replies almost immediately and I giggle.
'Seriously :)'
'You just made your boyfriend the happiest guy in the world. Can I come over to see you? I miss you x'
'Of course you can. I think we need to talk about a few things anyway. Come over whenever you're ready. Miss you too xxx'
Two minutes later I get an alert from Facebook to say I've been tagged, 'In a relationship with Blake Palmer'. I smile dreamily like a complete idiot and accept the request.
I go onto Blake's Facebook page and he has dozens of messages coming through.
'You lucky b*stard man! Kelsey Grant?!!' The first one says and is from some guy called Tom. I guess he must go to our school, but I don't recognise his profile picture.
The next comment says, 'I thought she was with Jake Turner?' I roll my eyes.
Not a chance.
They carry on and on, 'She's the hottest girl in school...I f*cking hate you!'. I have to laugh at that one.
