Baby Fever (≈)

Me and my boyfriend, Jude, have to go get some groceries so we can make a lovely dinner tonight for ourselves, pasta, to be specific.

As I finish doing my hair, Jude comes in the bathroom, "Hey, beautiful." He says as he comes behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Hello, handsome. You ready?" I say, getting out of his grip so we can go.

He groans, "Do we have to go?"

"Yes, baby."

He rolls his eyes, "Ughh fine, but only because you want to go."

I smile at him as I quickly give him a peck on the lips.

-At the grocery store-

I grab a shopping cart as we make our way inside.   Jude puts his hand on my lower back. As we keep walking, his hand slowly moves down towards my ass, "Jude." I scowl. He immediately retorts his hand to its original place as he grins, "Sorry baby."

I roll my eyes and smile.

As we walk around the grocery store, I noticed there were more babies with their parents than usual, but I just brushed it off.

Jude on the other hand, he couldn't help but smile at all the babies he saw.

As we made our way to the spices aisle, there was a mother and a baby. Jude smiled at a random baby for the millionth time today. I didn't even notice as I was too busy looking for the specific onion spice I needed for the pasta.

I felt Jude nudge me, "Yes baby?" I say.

"Look at the cute baby." He says as he nods his head towards the cute little baby staring at us.

I smile as I saw the baby, "Aww the baby is such a cutie!" I turn back to the spices, still debating on which one I should get.

"Yea....but you know what will be even cuter...." Jude says

"Hmm?" I question, as I finally decide on a spice and put it in the cart.

"Our baby." He smirks.

I let out a small laugh.

Jude's face turns serious, "What's funny?"

I look at him, "Jude, we're not ready for a baby right now." I start pushing the shopping cart.

He follows behind me but then gently grabs my arm, making me stop walking, "But y/n, I want a baby with you."

"And you will have a baby with me.....just not now." I say

Jude sighs, "But I want one now. Tell me, why do you feel like we aren't ready for one?"

"Because, babies come with a lot of responsibilities. The sleepless nights, the stress." I say, reasoning with him.

"Yea, but I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else but you. Please baby, you know how much I want to start a family with you....." he says with a soft voice.

I sigh, "You really want this?"

Jude's face lights up, "Yes, I want it so bad."

I think deeply about it as I smile, "Alright, let's go pay for this stuff and let's make our baby."

Jude couldn't help but kiss me, "Thank you baby. Let's hurry up!" He says as he takes the cart and practically zooms to the cash register, making me giggle from how happy he is.
