You have known Ona Batlle Pascual for 3 years, from July 2020 to now; the 17th of June 2023. You and Ona have had... some sort of a relationship. Because you played for Arsenal, and she played for Manchester United, it didn't seem realistic for yous to properly date due to the distance... no matter how much you wanted to.

You both have constantly flirted with each other from the first match you played against each other on the 9th of November. A forward and a defender... it seemed perfect... it seemed fate. You both had talked before that, mainly because you knew Millie Turner, and they were best friends immediately. However, from that game, we were no longer friends.
The constant flirting, teasing at matches, the off days where we would visit each other, the daily facetimes where you both would sometimes end up falling asleep on call. The gifts, the birthdays you would spend together, the Christmases where she would come and keep you company because you couldn't visit your family... it was all everything that couples would do, but we couldn't do that...

As the 22/23 season finished, you had a feeling that this would be your last season here... for now anyway. Despite your constant game time, and the way you were with the girls – as if one big family – it just felt like it was all coming to an end, which was devastating.

You got home after your last game of the season and immediately opened your emails, seeing a few offers come through from different teams in the WSL wanting you to join their team. One of those were Manchester United, but you didn't feel it.
