Forbidden. - Leah Williamson

        Realising you have a crush on someone you shouldn't is probably the worst feeling in the world, and that was exactly what happened today.

The day started off normal, with me waking up excited for training today and messaging my sister, Katie McCabe to come round and make me breakfast... mainly because I was too lazy to make it myself. She did come round, with her girlfriend, Caitlin, and we all sat and ate breakfast together before heading off to training.

We listened to music in the car, just pure vibing and having a chat about our nights went and how their date night went last night. It was all cute and fun, and that travelled into training too. We were a whole vibe walking in, making everyone smile. Even as a 25-year-old, I know how to bring the vibe anywhere. We were singing 'This Town' by Niall Horan all the way in, past security, scanning our passes, and skipping into the common room, seeing everyone just smile at us.

"IF THE WHOLE WORLD WAS WATCHING ID STILL DANCE WITH YOU! DRIVE HIGHWAYS AND BYWAYS TO BE THERE WITH YOU! OVER AND OVER THE ONLY TRUTH! EVERYTHING COMES BACK TO YOU!" We sang at the top of our voices, my arms wrapped around both Caitlin's and Katie's shoulders, making everyone laugh just seeing how happy we were.

We were all in quite early as Jonas called us for a team meeting, but it went by quicker than we thought it would, leaving us with 45 minutes of free time / prep time for training. Me and Katie decided to head off for a little walk around the pitch like we always do, just chatting, before Caitlin came running out. "COME! LEAH IS SINGING AND JEN IS PLAYING GUITAR!" She shouted, and both me and Katie ran as fast as we could, as this is a rare occurrence.

Leah always gets shy, especially in front of cameras, and especially singing, but right now, she's singing with Jen ON camera which we all just had to see. We ran in, making Jen look up at us. "Good job you came in now otherwise you would have disrupted the vibe." She joked, making us smile.

Jen started playing and Leah started humming along, and me and Katie stood side by side staring at them - everyone was staring at them. They looked so... peaceful. Leah started singing "breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson properly, and it made me have the biggest smile on my face. I imagined hearing this every day, then my brain went on a little tangent.

I realised, then and there, that I have a crush on Leah. Katie always told me that the one person I cannot have a crush on is Leah, and I do... I do have a crush Leah Williamson.

I immediately ran out of the room mid song, trying to be as quiet as I could, and ran outside to the pitch, being faced with the chilly air. Soon after, Katie came running out and sitting next to me on the grass. "What's up? What happened? Are you okay?" She ranted, and Caitlin came following out. "Katie, leave her a second." My sister's girlfriend spoke, and Katie looked confused. "She's my sister... she always tells me what's wrong." She replied but Caitlin shook her head. "Please? Just go inside." She asked again and Katie placed a kiss on the top of my head before walking inside, her spot soon being taken by her girlfriend.

"It's difficult isn't it?" She whispered. "I don't know what you mean." I spoke back, staring at the grass in front of me. "Realising you have a crush on someone that you shouldn't... Realising that after all those years of friendship, you don't see them as a friend anymore. It's difficult, right?" She asked and I nodded. "We know you like Leah. Well, I do, Steph does, Jen does, Kim does, basically everyone except Leah and Katie..." she chuckled, making me roll my eyes.

"I didn't even know I liked her. How did you?" I giggled and Caitlin just stared at me. "You are always like 'Do you think Leah is going to be at training today?' Or 'Fuck I have to verse Leah on the international break.' Or 'I wanna see Leah today.' It was a bit obvious." She smiled, making me smile a little. "Could have just been best friends." I chuckled and her face dropped dead. "Absolutely not. You can tell the difference. You need to tell Katie." She spoke and my heart started beating a million miles an hour.

"No. I can't do that. That's Katie's best friend I cannot do that, Caitlin. I can't tell her that I have a crush on Leah fucking Williamson." I rambled and heard a voice from behind. "You do...?" Leah whispered and I immediately hid my head in my hands. "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." I whispered and Caitlin put her hand on my lower back. "I'll leave you two be..." she whispered, getting up and walking off, leaving me and Leah outside together. I stayed dead silent until Leah told me to get up, which I did immediately. We stood face to face, my tears wanting to spill but I couldn't let them.

"Since when?" She asked and I shrugged. "I don't... know? I only just figured it out like when you were singing but apparently Caitlin has known for ages..." I whispered and Leah smiled a little. "Can I tell you a secret?" She asked, stepping closer to me little by little as she spoke, but I didn't move. "Y-yes?" I whispered, basically touching her.

"I have a crush on someone I shouldn't have a crush on too." She spoke, her hands resting on either side of my face. "Who?" I smiled, but my body was petrified of if anyone would see.

"You." She spoke, connecting our lips in a cute, soft, but long kiss. Our bodies melted together, and my hands rested on her waist, wanting to pull her in more but also not wanting to be too needy. Instead of me doing it, Leah put her hands in the back of my hair and pulled me in to make the kiss deeper, and we kissed until we ran out of air.

We pulled back slowly, and I laughed out of shock. "I just did that..." I giggled and Leah smiled. "Technically I kissed you, but yes. We kissed, and I'd happily do it again." She whispered, kissing the top of my head as I rested it on her chest. "Leah?" I whispered and she nodded, hand stroking through my hair. "Yes?" She asked and I lifted my head up a little.

"Kiss me again."
