"Where is he!!" I heard yelling coming from outside of the cupboard. Sirius. "You can't take him, what rights do you have???" Mr Dursley was yelling back. I started pounding on the door. "Sirius I'm in here!! Help me!!!!"

New school new me.... At least that's what I'm told. It's only been a week since I was rescued from the dursleys. I've been living with my god father, and today I have to start a new high school. They wanted to wait a week for me to recover from what's happened.

"Have a good day at school Harry." I smile at my god fathers. "Bye lupin, bye Sirius." I walk out the door and start my walk to school. It's only a five minute walk from my house.

I walk into the main doors of the school and immediately feel overwhelmed. I was never allowed to go to a private school with the Dursley's. They home schooled me. Well kind of. It was more of they gave me text books and expected me to learn through reading.

I make my way to the main office to get my schedule and my locker number. I keep my head down as I walk only looking up to make sure I'm going the right way. All of a sudden I bump into someone.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry." I quickly move away from the figure and look up to see a tall blonde boy with grey eyes. "It's fine. Next time watch where you're going." I nod and quickly walk away.

Not even five minutes into the school and I've already embarrassed myself. Vernon was right, I'm just an embarrassment.

I finally find the front office and am greeted by a short girl with curly brown hair and brown eyes. She's fit in all the right places. She's adorable to say the least. "Hi how can I help you this morning!" She smiled at me.

"Uhm- right my names Harry and I'm just picking up my schedule and stuff." I smiled back. "Oo Harry!! I'm your mentor that's great! My name is Hermione granger, so here is you schedual and this is your locker and your locker combination." She handed me two pieces of paper.

"You can just follow me and I'll give you your tour." I nodded but as she went to walk she held up a finger. "Just one moment." She opened the door to the nurses office. "Ronald I'm leaving cover the front!" I heard a groan come from who I presume is Ronald.

"Alright let's go then." She came back out and held out her arm. I linked arms with her and she led me around the school.

After the tour of the school she leads me to my first period class. "Alright Mrs mcGonagall is very nice I think you're going to have fun in her class." I smiled at her. "Thanks Hermione." "Of course Harry anytime, oh and here's my number, but also find me at lunch you are sitting with me today!" I gave her a quick hug.
