CHAPTER 1

FREEN'S POV*

I woke up when my alarm rings. I looked at my window pero madilim parin. Kinuha ko ang phone ko at tinignan ang oras, 4:00 a.m palang pero kailangan ko nang bumangon. I went to the bathroom and took a shower. After that, I walked in my room still wearing my rob. I fixed the things I need later. I decided to wear something simple but eye catching dress.

When I'm done, I walked downstairs straight in our kitchen. I looked at our fridge trying to find something to eat. I ate a lot last night so I don't have the appetite to eat my breakfast. I grabbed some cereal and milk kasi may gagawin kami later so kailangan ko pading kumain. I don't usually eat breakfast kasi feeling ko waste of time lang yon pero ano bang choice ko? I ended up eating my cereal to start my day.

"Good morning Ms. President, such a cute dress"

One of the student greet me with a smile. I'm currently at my school wearing a sky blue dress. And yes, you're right 'Ms. President'. I'm a well known student dito sa School. President ako ng Student Council 4 years in a row. Isa rin ako sa laging sumasali sa mga quiz bee or contest na related sa acads. Mataas confidence ko magsalita at humarap sa maraming tao so maning-mani lang sakin yung public speaking. Hindi sa pagmamayabang pero lahat ng subjects ko ay A+ , hindi ako ganon kagaling sa sport or let's just say na sakto lang. I love writing essays/letters, especially poems. Nagsusulat ako pag may gusto akong bigyan or pag may occasion kaya may collection ako sa bahay ng mga gawa ko.

As I walked, halos lahat ng dumadaan sa hallway ay nakangiting tumititig sakin. Then I saw my friends having the teasing look at me.

"Here she comes, the most popular girl at our school" Tee started.

"Hay nako Tee ayaw mo lang na nasasapawan ka" Heng said.

"Mga monggoloyd" my short reply.

"Ito naman aga aga badtrip, pero inferness cute mo ngayon" Nam said.

" Lagi naman, kung hindi maganda, cute o di kaya pogi" -Heng

" Kaya nga andaming nagkakagusto dyan" -Tee

"Well di nyo naman mapagkakailang malakas karisma ko" I confidently said.

"Agree, to the point na pati babae nagkakagusto sayo" - Irin (Tee's girlfriend)

"Good morning babe" -Tee

"Tsk dito pa talaga sa harap namin" -Heng

"You know what let's go, i have a lot of things to do. You're wasting my time." I said in a cold tone.

"Ano pa nga ba, e busy person kinaibigan natin"  I heard Nam whispered.

I secretly chuckle and walk to my room. All of them ay kaklase ko so bardagulan malala habang wala si prof. I sat on my chair trying to think what will I do later.
Meron kasi kaming event for our Dean's birthday.

As time goes by, it's already lunch break. We sat on our own seats and had a conversation.

"Magtratransfer dito pinsan ko" Irin started.

"Yung magandang babae sainyo kahapon nung pinuntahan kita babe?" Tee asked her gf.

"Yes baby"

"Naks new chicks" Heng jokingly said

"Sige ganyan ka naman Heng, sino ba naman ako" Nam said with her pouting lips making all of us laugh

"Eat your lunch, we have our event later"

"Yes Ms. President" They said in unison that makes me chuckle.

Pagtapos namin kumain dumeretsyo na kami sa court. May mga estudyante na na nag-uumpisang mag design ng stage. Nagready na rin ako ng speech ko para igreet yung Dean namin.

I hear the crowd cheers when our Dean came. They greet her a 'Happy birthday song' I'm just standing there smiling to everyone. Nam poked me, dahilan para matauhan ako. It's my time to speak in front.

Pagkaapak ko sa stage naghiyawan na ang mga estudyante. Ganon ba ko ka ganda? Chariz.

"Hi Hello Hi Hi Hello Hello everyone! " I energetically greet them making the crowd cheer louder.

"I just want to greet our dearest Dean Ms. Rivera for her special day. Let's wish her another memorable year full of love, care, laughs, smiles, and blessings. Ms. Rivera, thank you for your hard work to maintain the graceness of our school. Thank you for giving all of us an encouragement to continue and reach our dreams. Again Happiest birthday to you. Enjoy this special day of yours"

Everyone clapped as I show them my gummy smile.

Thank you lord tapos na rin sa wakas. We decided to separate our paths kasi anong oras na rin. When I got home I smell something coming from our kitchen. And there, I saw my mom cooking. I greeted her and hug her

"Here comes my little angel" mom says .

"Mom I'm not little anymore" I said and cross my arms.

"Shh don't sulk, you're still my little angel Freen. Go to your room and change, we'll have dinner soon"

I obeyed my mother. I'm living with her alone since my dad died when I was young. I love my mother so much because she's there everytime especially in my highs and lows. I'll make sure that no one can hurt her.

After  having dinner, I went to my room. I lay down until I fall a sleep. Next thing I knew, my mom is waking me up.

"Freen it's already 5:30 wake up, you'll be late for school"

I opened my eyes ng marinig ko yon. Napabalikwas ako ng tayo papuntang banyo at mabilis na naligo. Narinig ko pa si mama na natatawa sa itshura ko pero di ko na pinansin. Nagbihis nalang ako ng simple at bumaba na.

"Bye mom see you later" nagmamadaling sabi ko tsaka umalis nga bahay.

Tumatakbo ako sa hallway when I bumped to a beautiful girl crying.
