CHAPTER 3

FREEN'S POV

I saw my phone beep again. It's a notification from Becky. I can't help but smile with the nickname

Becbec🤍

Becky: P'freen where are you? Are you alright?

Freen: I'm currently at my house Bec. I just got gome from our caffee.

Becky: Is that so, can you make it up here at the park?

Freen: Sorry Bec but not today. I'm tired.

Becky: Rest a lot P'freen🤍

Freen: Thank you N'Bec.

I put my phone down and enjoy the afternoon alone. My mom is not here until evening so I have the whole house by myself. I decided to watch movies on Netflix until I got tired.

BECKY'S POV

"Where is she?" Nam asked me

"She said she can't make it today"

"Why? She's free every weekend" Heng said

"I agree, also why she didn't reply to us and only replied to you?" - Tee

"I also wonder why babe" Irin agreed with her girlfriend.

"Something came up to their coffee shop. She said her mom asked her to look after it. She's now at their home. She said she's tired so I told her to take a rest" I explained.

"Look after their coffee shop?" Heng laugh

"You've got to be kidding me" Tee said also laughing

I'm now confused, what was happening?

"Their shop is closed every weekend" Heng said

"This girl is up to something, I need to know what is it" Nam said

They're now my friends but P'freen is my closest one. They are so kind and funny to get along with. We stick on the string and go to the park. We get along too much and come home almost evening.

"Good evening mom and dad" I greet my parents

"Good evening princess" Dad said

"Good evening sweety, did you enjoy hanging out with your new friends?" Mom said

"Yes Mom, I enjoyed a lot" I said as I sat between them.

They hug me and dad pat my head while mom is caressing my face. This family always make me feel loved.

"I think I'm supposed to be there too" my older brother Richie interrupt our moment

"Get in here honey" Mom invited him

We do the sandwich hug. Me and Richie is in between them. This is the best family ever.

FREEN'S POV

"HEY FREEN THERE'S A CAT!"

I woke up because of the loud scream. I didn't think twice and immediately jump off my bed.

" HAHAHAHA your face is priceless"

It's Nam she's here at my house this early in the morning just to scare me with a cat. She's my best friend since grade school until now that we're collage. She knew that I'm scared of cats since I was young. I have a trauma of cats. They scratch me or bite me. Since then I didn't socialize with cats.

"What are you doing here this early in the morning" I rolled my eyes and fix myself

"Well you didn't show up yesterday so I came here"

"I told you I'm tired"

"And you used the excuse that your mom asked you to look after the coffee shop? It's a dumb move Freen, you used that excuse to Becky but forgot that we're with her?" Nam said

"I'm screwed up"

"Yes you are, now tell me what's bothering you my dear best friend"

"I don't know what to say Nam"

"Come on Freen, I'm all ears"

"It's. It- it's just, I... Uhm -I don't know w-what happened to.. to me"

"Go on Freen say it"

"I saw Becky yesterday"

"Aha then?"

"She's with another guy"

"So?"

"I- I... I d-don't know w-wh... why d-did I c-cry... cry" I'm uttered

"Are you hurt?"

"I don't know Nam, maybe yes?"

"Do you like Becky?"

"H-huh?! NO I DON'T " fuck I look so defensive.

"It seems you do Freen. I've been observing you since Becky came. You're with her all the time. I'm jealous though, but she changed you a lot. You're no longer the fuzzy and mean friend to us"

FLASHBACK*

"You two, where have you been?" Heng asked the two girl

"You're always with each other, I hope you didn't forget to hangout with us" Tee sulk

"Oi Tee, don't be a baby. So childish, I just tour Becky around that's it"

" 'I just tour Becky around that's it' yeah talk to my hand Freen" Nam imitate me

"Let's have some lunch Phi's. I'm starving" Becky said

"Yes let's go N'Bec" we two headed to the cafeteria leaving our friends behind following us.

"N'Bec do you want some omelette?" I asked this angel beside me.

"Yes kaa" oh God she's so adorable

I feed her omelette and I noticed a pair of eyes looking at us

"Freen never feed me"

" 'Us' Nam it's us. Freen we've been together for decade, why you only treat Becky like this" Tee asked me

" Becky can do it by herself Freen" - Heng

"Shut up bitches and you Tee, ask your girlfriend to feed you" I rolled my eyes and feed Becky again.

"Oii so harsh" Nam said and Irin just laughed.

Becky and I are friends since the day she transferred. We've been friends for four months already. I like hanging out with her and I'm sure she feel the same way.

END OF FLASHBACK*

"Becky is beautiful and kind girl. The things I do for her, i don't know why I did that. I just feel doing it. But if I'm starting to like her, I'm not ready yet. I'm still traumatized because of Heidi"

"Heidi is different Freen, She's a bitch while Becky is an angel. Figure out what you feel for the girl. Update me so I could help you" Nam said

"I'll sure do. Thank you Nam. But please don't tell it to them. I can bear it if you're the only one teasing me, but if all of you did I might wish to disappear"

"I'm your friend Freen. But in my opinion, you liked Becky. You just can't admit it but it's fine. You may be confused"
 
Nam stay a little bit longer to entertain me. I'm so thankful to have her.
