CHAPTER 7

FREEN'S POV

It's been weeks since that day. We never talked. She didn't respond to my texts and calls. I tried to talked to her when we're at school but she ignores me and say she's busy. It hurts a lot. But I kept reminding myself that maybe there's a reason.

The only words that keep lingering around my mind is when she said " I love you too".

That's my strength to fight for her. But what am I actually fighting with?

I don't even know what is the problem I need to solve. But whatever it is, I'm ready to face it. I love her and it will never change.

"Freen wanna go to the mall? Let's bond again. You've been busy and keep rejecting us" Nam said

"I don't want to Nam" I coldly reply.

"Freen, it's for you too, make time for yourself" Heng said

"Think about it brother" Tee added

"Fine." I said and they all exchanged high five. This stubborns hays...

We're heading to the mall. Heng is driving Nam's car. All they've do is talk and talk while me, I'm looking at the window. There's neven been a single joy since Becky walked out. It didn't take an hour to reached the mall and jump of the car one by one.

"What do you want to do Freen?" Heng asked me

"I don't know bitch, you guys dragged me here." I harshly said.

"Easy bro, let's just go to Starbucks. Nam order her an American Latte, I'll pay for it, don't forget to order for us too. I just want to discuss something with Heng, we will be there"

"Roger that. Now you, madam come with me" Nam said

We're about to reach Starbucks but then I feel like I need to go to the restroom.

"Nam, you go first, I need to go the restroom"

"Okay Freen, be quick"

When I reached the Restroom I saw someone I didn't expect to interact with today.

Friend is in the restroom too, holding some oaper bags that I think she bought here at the mall.

She smile at me like she's teasing me for something she won that I don't. My curiosity got me, it's just the two of us staring to death to each other.

There are three cubicles and one long lavatory (sink/basins) which Friend standing near at. Why would she stand here at the restroom holding some paper bags? maybe she's waiting for someone? Well I don't really care about it.

I was about to go to one of the cubicles when the other one opened. Revealing the girl I confessed with. I was in shock when she look at me.

"Hey babe, you done? let's go" Friend said

Becky walk towards her and they both walk away leaving me dumbfounded. Babe? they're dating? h..how?..?? I thought Friend cheated on her?

"Hey Freen, why are you standing there? Are you alright?" Nam said hold my hands bringing me back to my senses.

"I..I s..aw I saw Becky a.nnd Friend. They're now together" I said almost tearing up

"Shhh bro it's alright, maybe there's a reason behind it" Tee said

"Let's just enjoy our moment here. Don't mind them" Kirk said.

They let me do my business at the restroom first before we headed off.
