That is what everyone thinks and knows about Dark Magic or Dark Arts. But no one dares ask the question of where it came from at the start. Those who uses Dark Magic knows that with that amazing power, comes with a sacrifice. Mostly blood sacrifice or something close to the user. Jamal has spent his young life studying just what is Dark Arts and where did it come from. In Plegia, he had a study where he would keep all his notes and research about what he learn about this Sorcery. Although he could only get but so far before he had to become a Dark Mage himself. However after getting used to the power of Dark Magic he would go back to his study to discover that The Mad King himself destroyed all his stuff and what he has learned. Nothing salvageable he could take so he had to start from zero. Of course it could only start once he left Plegia.
