"𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐓𝐖𝐎 , let's move it. Your game starts in half an hour!" Will Averman ordered his twins. "Your sister is already in the car."
The Averman twins grabbed their skates , bag and stick , all the things they needed for their first game of the season. They walked outside the house with their father towards their car where their sister Jackie had already claimed shotgun.
"Dad after the game can we get a Mcdonald's?" Lester asked his father as he got into the car.
"Sure , why not." Will agreed as he put on his seatbelt. "Does everyone have their seatbelts on?"
"Yes Dad." All three Averman children said in unison.
"Then let's roll!" Will exclaimed. He began to drive the car towards the Hawks rink.
"Danny , if you score against the hawks I'll do your chores for a week." Lester betted.
"If you score I'll do your chores for a week too." Danny added.
"Everyone knows that won't happen." Jackie said from the front seat with a chuckle.
"Hey Jackie! That's not nice , say sorry!" Will told.
"Sorry Lester." She sighed.
"It's okay dear sister. We all know the only talent you have isn't very PG." Lester joked. Danny burst out laughing at her brothers joke.
"You just wait until we get out of this car Lester." Jackie cursed.
𝐇𝐀𝐖𝐊𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐖𝐊𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐖𝐊𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐖𝐊𝐒 was chanted around the stadium as the Hawks team warmed up. After they finished their warm-up , the two hawks that always seemed to cause trouble with the opposing team came over to the District 5 team.
They took off their helmets and the shorter one said , "Hi girls" in a smug tone.
Karp tried to lunge over at the two boys but he got held back by Guy and Terry. The two hawks skated back to their team and teased the boy as he was held back by his friends.
"Just ignore them Karp , they have nothing better to do than be jerks." Danny reassured Karp as Terry and Guy let him go.
"Whatever dreamer." Karp spat. Lester turned to look at Karp and said , "She was only trying to help , no need to be an ass about it!"
"Shut up Averman. Look at you defending your sister who better than you at everything!" Karp replied. Lester tried to lunge at Karp but Danny , Guy and Jesse held him back. Karp got held back by Terry and Charlie.
"Just what we need. For the team to turn on each-over!" Connie exclaimed.
"Connie is right you guys. If we turn on eachover than what are we going to do when the match begins?" Danny said. "Right you two say sorry to each-over than."
