Discovering Abilities
Two days stranded on Zargon felt like an eternity for Sam and James. But with Sebastian's guidance, they were adapting to their new reality.
Samantha: Good Morning!
James: Hey!
Sebastian: Good Morning!

Sam's curiosity bubbled up like a volcano ready to erupt.

Samantha: I got a question for you, basti.
Sebastian: What is it?
Samantha: How the hell did I manage to fly?
Sebastian: Thanks to your biology, your bodies filter this planet differently, giving you powers.

James, connecting the dots, realized their powers stemmed from different origins.

James: That explains why you have powers...
Sebastian: Not exactly. I was a captive in a laboratory, tortured and experimented on until I gained abilities.

Sympathy washed over Sam at Sebastian's revelation.

Samantha: Oh... That's horrible... I'm so sorry for you...
Sebastian: It's okay! I'm glad I have these abilities! They come in handy!
James, grappling with newfound awareness, probed further.
James: Wait a minute... Do I have powers?
Sebastian: Yes! But controlling them is the challenge.

As they embarked on training, Sebastian revealed a secret complex tailored for honing their abilities.
Sebastian: I have just the right place for training!
Samantha: Alright, shall we get a move on?
Sebastian: Absolutely!
James: Just a quick question, though.
Sebastian: Shoot!
James: Will your complex be able to accommodate our ship?
Sebastian: Oh, definitely! It's spacious enough for the ship and leaves plenty of room for training.
Samantha: That's incredible! Should we head to the ship first?
Sebastian: Yep, let's go!

They left the apartment and made their way to the ship. As they approached it, Samantha deactivated the cloaking device and they all boarded. Samantha took the helm and started piloting the ship, with Sebastian providing guidance. They flew the ship to the complex, where Samantha reactivated the cloaking device and they disembarked. Stepping out, they were blown away by the sheer size of the complex. It was like a massive hangar, even bigger than the one they had back on Grenken! James couldn't help but wonder about Sebastian's financial prowess.

James: Bro... Are you rich or something?
Sebastian: No, just hard work and dedication.

Their training began, but control proved elusive.
Sebastian: Alright. Close your eyes, control your breathing and feel the power within you wanting to emerge.

Samantha started levitating, meanwhile James formed a shield around himself

Sebastian: Sick! You have different powers even though you're the same species! Maybe it differs from male and female?
James and Samantha opened their eyes, causing them to lose control of the powers. Sam falls straight down and James' shield breaks.
Samantha: OUCH! THAT HURT!
James: What the hell did I just do?
Sebastian: James, you were conjuring a shield, but it broke when you lost control of it. And Sam, you started levitating, but lost control when you opened your eyes. It's important for both of you to learn to control these powers, especially in case of a fight. It's going to take some time but, I think we can get there with enough training.
James: Yeah, I guess so.
Samantha: Can we have a water break?
Sebastian: Sure, 5-minute break.

After they took a break, they got right back into training. As they were starting to gain more control over their powers, Sebastian decided to switch things up.

Sebastian: Hey guys! Listen up!
James and Samantha: Yeah?
Sebastian: Let's try something different for training, okay?
James: Sure.
Samantha: What kind of training?
Sebastian: You'll see in a minute...
Samantha: Okay...

Sebastian presses a button, and 4 turrets descend from the ceiling.

James: What are those for?!
Sebastian: They're for your training.
James and Samantha: WHAT!?
Sebastian: Good luck!
James: SEBASTIAN, COME BACK HERE!
Samantha: Uh-oh, James. Looks like they're loading.
James: Oh no... We're gonna get blasted to smithereens in here!

The turrets take aim and prepare to shoot. Sebastian watches from inside a room, monitoring their progress. Seeing them not doing anything, he speaks through the speaker and says, "What are you guys waiting for? This is training!"

Samantha: Are you out of your mind? You want us to die?!

The turrets start blasting, and James leaps in front of Samantha, creates a protective bubble around himself and his sister.
James: WOAAH! THIS IS AWESOME!
Samantha: AAHHH, WE'RE GONNA DIE!
James: Sam, chill out! We're safe in here! And we still have our powers!
Samantha: Okay! You're right!

Sam starts using her powers, grabs her brother, and takes off flying. As they soar through the air, James's bubble collides with the turrets, one by one, obliterating them. They land back on the ground, and James breaks the bubble.

James: Nice work, sis!
Samantha: It's all about teamwork! Teamwork makes the dream work!
Sebastian: Great job, guys!
Samantha: I'M GONNA GET YOU, SEBASTIAN!
Sebastian: Hey, hey, chill!! I helped you guys use your powers, right?
James: Sam, he's got a point. This was the push we needed to start embracing our powers!
Samantha: You better watch out, Sebastian! I'll get you when you least expect it.
Sebastian says to James: "She's just kidding, right?"
James: I'm not entirely sure... You did almost get us killed! (James giggles)
Sebastian: I sure hope she's kidding...
