James: Oh god, my head is throbbing...

-

Struggling to stand up, James caught a glimpse of Sebastian sprawled on the floor, panic coursed through his veins as he rushed towards his fallen friend.

James: Sebastian? Seb! Wake up!

James gives Sebastian a hard slap, desperately trying to snap him out of it.

-

James: WAKE UP MAN!

Sebastian: Ow, my face!

James: Shit, sorry!

Sebastian: What the hell happened here?

James: The whole damn place is on fire, man. And they took Sam.

Sebastian: What? Who?

James: I don't know, she was tall, wearing a big black jacket, she looked evil.

Sebastian: It doesn't matter who it was, we need to get the hell out of here. This place is going to collapse at any minute. Your ship! Can we use it to get out?

James: I highly doubt it. I don't think it'll fly.

-

Sebastian's eyes widened with a mixture of disbelief and despair as he took in James's horrifying assessment. The weight of their future pressed down on them like a suffocating cloud, the air thick with smoke and uncertainty.

Sebastian: We're trapped. Trapped in a nightmare.

James: No, we can't afford to think like that or we will die in here. If I can create a shield around the ship, and you fly us out I think we can make it.

Sebastian: How? I don't have super strength and you just said it yourself, the ship doesn't fly.

James: I know I said it probably won't fly, but that doesn't mean it definitely won't. We have to take a chance, Sebastian. It's either that or death.

Sebastian: Fine, let's go before it's too late.

-

As James and Sebastian sprinted through the crumbling complex, the air thick with smoke and the sound of falling debris, they could feel the weight of their desperate situation pressing down on them. The ground shook beneath their feet as if the very walls were closing in on them.

Sebastian: Hold on, James! We're almost there! Just a little bit longer!

Burning pieces of the ceiling rained down upon them, making it increasingly difficult to see and navigate through the chaos. Finally, they reached the ship, a glimmer of hope amid the devastation.

James: Quick, Sebastian!

James created a turtle-shell-like shield around them and the ship.

James: Get inside and see if the blast didn't affect the thrusters, I'll hold the shield. We need any chance we can get!

-

Sebastian rushed into the ship, his heart pounding in his chest. He examined the engine room, his hands trembling with anticipation. The sight that greeted him was disheartening.

Sebastian: James... I'm sorry. The engines, the thrusters... they're completely fried. There's no way we can fly out of here.

-

James clenched his jaw in frustration, his face etched with determination.

James: No! We can't give up now! We've come too far to let this be the end. We'll find another way, Sebastian. We have to!

-

As more pieces of the complex collapsed on top of them, James strained to maintain the shield, his strength waning.

James: Fuck! Sebastian, we're running out of time! Get back inside the ship! I can't hold the shield much longer!

As James released the shield, debris rained down upon them, causing the ground to shake violently. They sprinted towards the safety of the ship, desperately seeking refuge from the chaos.

-

While Sebastian and James, were fending for themselves, Sam was taken to one of this mysterious woman's black site facilities.

Samantha: Where am I? Who are you?

Mysterious Woman: You are at one of many bases I have for people like you, with special abilities... About my identity, you can't know it. just yet...

Samantha: What do you want from me?

Mysterious Woman: I want to know how you got these abilities and if it's possible to replicate them to someone else.

Samantha: Don't you dare put your hands on me!

-

Sam tries to tap into her powers but soon realizes she doesn't have access to them on that cell.

Samantha: What did you do to me?

Mysterious Woman: We haven't touched you, yet. But we have some technology to prevent the use of your powers just like we can prevent, your brother's, and that stupid boy Sebastian's.

Samantha: What do you want from us? How do you know us?

Mysterious Woman: Don't you understand? Your existence on this planet is something that we don't see every day! And if we can collect your abilities, we can become stronger, and nobody will be able to stop us!

Samantha: You psychopath. Let me out of here!

Mysterious Woman: No, I'm not. I'm just an ordinary scientist very interested in studying your abilities.

Samantha: My brother and Sebastian will find you, and when they do, you will die.

Mysterious Woman: Ah, the naive hope of a captive. You see, Samantha, your brother and Sebastian are nothing more than trapped bodies, buried beneath the wreckage of your little playground. There's no escape for them, just as there's no escape for you.

Samantha: You crazy bitch.

Mysterious Woman: Crazy? Maybe. But let me tell you, I'm not one bitch to be messed with.

Samantha: Don't you dare touch me, you hear?

Mysterious Woman: Touch you? Ha! Do you think I'm scared of your threats? Bring it on.

Samantha: Touch me and you'll fucking find out.

Mysterious Woman: Ooh, such tough words. I can't wait to see if you can back them up.

Samantha: Come take a taste and find out bitch.

Mysterious Woman: Well, all these futile and empty threats left me hungry. I'm going to get something to eat. Want something?

Samantha: Shove the food where the sun doesn't shine. I'm sure you'd love that.

Mysterious Woman: Fine, have it your way. But mark my words, you'll break eventually.

-

Alone in the dark cell, Sam searched desperately for a way out. She tried to find something sharp to break the cuffs on her wrists, but there was nothing. As her hopes diminished, a desperate thought ran through her mind. Perhaps brute force could work. She raised her bound hands, steeling herself for the impact, and struck the cuffs against the edge of the bed with all her strength. The metallic clang echoed through the silence, but the cuffs remained the same. Feeling hopeless, she remembered that water and electricity didn't mix well. Despite the risk, she filled the sink with water and dived her hands in it, hoping to short-circuit the cuffs.
