Adapting on a new home

James: It's been six damn hours since we crash-landed here. How on Zargon are we going to get jobs and find a place to live?

Samantha: I don't have all the answers just yet, but rest assured, we'll figure it out. Our first priority is to fix our ship. We're stranded in the middle of nowhere!

James: You're absolutely right. Let's get to work, no time to waste.

James dove headfirst into repairing the ship, his hands covered in grease and determination. Meanwhile, Samantha meticulously inspected every functional part, her eyes scanning for any signs of further damage caused by the crash. With limited resources and no fancy tech, they did their best to patch up the ship and make it fly again. Once the repairs were done, they embarked on their journey towards the nearest city, their hopes high.

-

As they approached the city entrance, a figure caught their eye. Tall, with messy brown hair and piercing green eyes, it was Sebastian, an old friend they hadn't seen in years. Excitement surged through their veins as they hurriedly disembarked from the ship, eager to reunite with their long-lost comrade.

James: Sebastian? Holy shit, is that really you?

Samantha: Basti!

Sebastian: Hey, guys! It's been ages since we last saw each other, right? 5 years, maybe even longer?

Sebastian: What brings you here? Paying me a surprise visit? (Sebastian chuckles)

James: No, man. Shit hit the fan back home. Our planet got attacked and everything went to hell. We barely got away. Most of our people didn't make it. We had to flee and ended up crash-landing here.

Sebastian: Whoa... I'm truly sorry to hear that. Did anyone else manage to survive?

Samantha: We're not sure. We're holding onto hope, but we haven't heard from anyone else yet.

Sebastian: Woah, I can't even imagine what you guys are going through! But hey, no worries, you're welcome to crash at my place until you find somewhere to live. It's the least I can do to help you out.

Samantha: We really appreciate it, basti. Thank you so much.

Sebastian: Of course, glad I could lend a hand. And hey, don't worry about leaving your ship here. I've got a cloaking device at my house that you can borrow if you want.

James: Yeah, we would take it if it's okay with you.

Sebastian: Sure, I'll be right back, don't move.

Sebastian flies away towards the city

James: Hold up, since when does he have powers? Am I the only one left out?

Samantha: Haha, I guess he has some hidden talents. Who knew?

James: Seriously? I'm the only one without powers here?

Samantha: Well, he just got even hotter in my eyes.

James: Sam!

Samantha: What? It's true!

Sebastian returns with the cloaking device.

James: Alright, spill the beans, basti. When did you become a superhero?

Sebastian: Oh, I didn't tell you guys? Oops, my bad.

Samantha: We can talk about that later. For now, hand over the device so we can install it.

Sebastian: Here you go!

Samantha: Thanks!

Samantha installs the device on the ship and tests it out.

Samantha: Perfect! It's working like a charm. Thanks, basti.

Sebastian: No problem at all. Happy to help.

They head to Sebastian's apartment, where he shows them their rooms.

Sebastian: This is where you guys will be staying!

James: Thanks, man! It's perfect.

Samantha: Yeah, we're really grateful. I don't even know how to thank you...

-

Sebastian's apartment was massive! It was like something out of a millionaire's dream. I mean, seriously, it had a gigantic living room, a sleek kitchen with a fancy island, three rooms, and not one, not two, but three bathrooms! It was mind-blowing. And you know what? It was just what the twins needed at this moment. It was like fate had brought them to Sebastian and his luxurious haven.
